Hi Everyone,

I had an old Momentum dive watch and it lasted for over 10 years. It is still going strong but the bezel was worn. Time for a new dive/sports watch.

I checked the internet and Amazon for dive watches, and dozens of them are available. Since I wear glasses, I cannot see underwater that well. So I needed a watch that I could read without glasses. After checking all the pictures and the watch sizes, I chose the Momentum Storm watch. It has a large black face with large white (luminous in dark) hands - easy to see underwater. Also, it has a quartz movement and it keeps perfect time. (Some watches are self-winding which means you have to wear it all of the time to keep it running).

My main watch is a Rolex, so I like nice watches. The Momentum watch looks much cooler than I thought it would. It is not too big or too small. It has rugged look with the band being rubber. The hands are luminous and look very cool at night. Also, at $140, it is not too expensive, especially for a functional dive watch. Recommended !!

I found this watch to be nearly flawless when it arrived: perfect size, style, finish and functions. Everything about it was of a very high quality, and at $140, it was an amazing deal. I love that it has both the date and day of the week, and I love the traditional diver dial. The watch almost perfectly filled my needs, but sadly, I had to return it based on one major (for me anyway) flaw: while the hands glow very brightly in the dark, the hour markers are almost invisible, even after a fresh charge in bright light. I'm not sure if I got a defective watch, or if this is the standard for this model.
For anyone not concerned about glow-in-the-dark performance, or if you don't mind only seeing the hands at night, you'll be very happy with this watch. I wish the luminous paint had been applied to the markers too, because I was really sad to let this one go.
