If you have looked this product up and are reading this review it is probably not by chance. Neal Morse's latest tour to support his Momentum album is documented here as he plays alongside Randy George and Mike Portnoy as well as three lucky and very talented Youtube audition winners. If you enjoyed Testimony 2 Live or So Many Roads or basically any of Neal's work then this is a must buy. Of course, he plays songs from his latest album but also includes a Spock's Beard song and even a cover song - Crazy Horses by the Osmonds on here. You can't hardly go wrong with Neal Morse live. It is a treat to see it so well produced with great audio and video. If you have surround sound, turn it up and you are transported to the best seat in the house. The setlist is great and different from the other live releases. I wish i could gove more than 5 stars!

Just received my signed copy of the 5 disc package! Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!! The picture is very crisp and the sound, particularly in 5.1 is thunderous! Great bottom end to task the subs! Over 3 hours of progressive rock madness! Everyone is firing on all cylinders. This will be a must own for progressive rock lovers!

Neal Morse Is a genius. MIke Portnoy is a beast. Randy George kills it. Adson Sodre is amazing. Prog-rock perfection.

Amazing. The wall of sound that Neil Morse is able to generate with just a 6 piece band is enough to knock your socks off. There are moments of tremendous joy, great beauty, awe, and just pure dumb fun. I thank God that Neil Morse has not only kept Prog Rock alive, but is able to spread The Message in a way that anyone can relate and not be put off by it. Can't wait to see what Mr. Morse does next. A Rock Opera, perhaps?

Although Neal has racked up quite a list of live recordings, this one stands above the rest for a few reasons. The biggest reason is the band, which I will break down into two parts.

Part 1: Neal, Randy, and Mike. The three-headed creative monster behind Neal's amazing concept albums is here and in full force. All three deliver in a very special way on this recording.

Part 2: The new guys. Adson, Bill, and Eric happen to be the perfect trio to complete Neal's live band. Neal picked them, and obviously I see exactly what he saw in them. They are three of the most good-natured guys, who happen to kill on their instruments. Adson can play Paul Gilbert's stuff note for note, but can also put his own very nice spin on things. Not only that, but he was an integral part in finishing Neal's Momentum album, playing many original solos. He's also a great backing vocalist. Bill is a keyboard master, but also tears up the violin and sax on this recording, making him the ultimate Neal Morse MVP. Bill also sings great backing vocals, and a short lead vocal on the Spock's song. Eric, also present on Neal's Momentum album for backing vocals, would be the 1st chair lead guitarist in most any other band, and even though he has moments to shine, he seems to operate wonderfully in the supporting role. He's also a great keyboardist. All three of these guys are awesome!

Another thing that sets this live recording above and apart from Neal's others is the genius setlist. Every album is well-represented (except T2), and although they couldn't possibly have played all the epics, we get a good dose of them. My favorite long tracks are Sola's "The Conflict", the ? Album medley, and the Testimony I medley.

Outstanding musicianship, this is a must have prog fans. lot's of energy and all the songs are great. I also highly recommend Spock's Beard's new one Brief Nocturines and Dreamless Sleep with Ted leonard equally as good.

Neal Morse may be America's most underrated songwriter and musician. Just because he makes "Christian Rock" now should in no way dissuade you from the musicianship on this album. Mike Portnoy (ex-Dream Theater) may be the best drummer on the planet. All tracks shine. Definitely worth it if you are a Prog fan.

I'm a huge fan of Neal's and this package is wonderful! Great band of extremely talented musicians with the new guys playing at the same level as George and Portnoy. Only minor complaint is that the 5.1 mix on the DVD's isn't very good. If you are a prog fan, buy this!!!
