Book Description

May 1, 1996
Mommy, Please Don't Cry is a book of love and comfort for mothers who have experienced the deep sorrow of losing a child. Serene illustrations frame gentle words that describe heaven from a child's perspective. With room for the reader's personal reflections at the end of the book, every page is a poignant gift of hope and healing. "Our stories are all different, but our pain is the same," writes Linda. "We are mothers who will forever grieve the loss of our children. And yet, there is hope for our troubled souls."

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfort, Peace & Joy to be found, January 13, 2000
This review is from: Mommy, Please Don't Cry (Hardcover)
This book is a short read, but brings much comfort and peace to the heart. It reads like a children's book and can be read to children as well. The pictures are colorful and beautiful. The sentiment is heartwarming and brings peace to my heart that my baby is in a glorious place. I lost my 3rd baby Tanner Jason Tobac on 9-30-99, a full term baby, born into the arms of angels. There is a website of Tanner's Memorial Page. I received this book as a gift from another bereaved Mother. I read it with tear filled eyes. I think any mother who loses a child would love to have their own copy of this book. I have also read it to my children, so that they will know that their baby brother is in heaven. He is there singing with the angels and feeling the hugs of Jesus. Thank you for such a captivating book.

5.0 out of 5 stars uplifting, comforting book, June 30, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Mommy, Please Don't Cry (Hardcover)
I received a copy of this book after my first miscarriage last year. I felt devastated after this loss and had very little support thru the grief that followed. This book gave me great comfort and peace knowing that my child is with Jesus in heaven. With my second miscarriage, I was much more at peace because of this book's reaffirming message. Because of the way the book is written, it feels as if my children are talking to me. The pictures are beautifully done in a way that celebrates my children's lives in Heaven. The final pages always tug at my heart. What a message of hope. I have shared this book with other parents who have lost their children and each of them says the same thing. "As much as it brings tears to my eyes, it is a very comforting book. Thank you for sharing." This is a MUST read for all parents who have lost a child regardless of the circumstances.

5.0 out of 5 stars I WILL SEE MY BABY AGAIN!, June 10, 2001

This book will bring tears to your eyes, but peace in your heart. Linda DeYmaz does an excellent job of bringing comfort to the reader in showing how wonderful heaven is and how safe our precious babies are! As the mother of a stillborn son named Justin, this book keeps reminding me how wonderful that day will be when I hold my son in my arms once again for eternity. A must read for parents who have lost a child.
