My husband bought this book for me on Mother's Day and it was the best gift ever. I and my 10 month old daughter love it! It's simple, sweet, and tender. The rhymes are perfect for little ears and the illustrations of the animals are beautiful. Mommies - you won't be disappointed. This is sure to be a classic. I just wish they had a boardbook version!

Our 14 month old daughter absolutely loves this book! She asks to have it read to her at least 5 times per day. In fact, this book has really helped us teach her how to say "please." Each page has just the right amount of text on it for a young child and the illustrations are beautiful. This book is destined to become a classic!

The illustrations are absolutely beautiful - even my young daughters were quick to recognize the beauty in the pictures, especially the humans in the book. Its really lovely! Nice bedtime book, especially nice as a gift for first time moms. If your kids love animals, they'll love having this book read to them.

I purchased this book for my Daughter and Granddaughter for Christmas when Granddaughter was 2 months old. My daughter began reading it to her then. Now she picks this book up as a favorite. The pictures of the baby animals being kissed by their Mothers is very sweet. I ordered 2 more of these books last month through Amazon, to give to my next 2 Grand children that are soon to be here. I highly recommend for lovers of animals and babies.

I love hardcover books for my children since they are younger and this is a very cute Mommy book. I would recommend it to anyone.

We have this book and bought one for a friend. My daughter is 5 and still loves reading it and kissing all the places the mother animals do - knees, tummy, toes, etc. It's a favorite. There are lots of giggles!

This has got to be the sweetest book ever. We rented it from the library and I just had to get online to buy a copy to keep. My two year old really loves the pictures.

I have read this book to my 18 month old son since he came home from the hospital. I have since memorized the sweet words. Our book is a hardback with pages that he started ripping. I would recommend the board book version to avoid this. The illustrations are absolutely beautiful. Can't recommend this book high enough!

MOMMY'S BEST KISSES by Margaret Anastas, illustrated by Susan Winter (Harper Collins 2003 "CHILDREN NEED LOTS OF KISSES. AND MOMMIES KISS THEM JUST RIGHT") I received this book as a gift to take to my local library from the regional library board. The little boy on the cover picture looked so much like one I had just taken of my great grandson, I sent it to him instead and then purchased a replacement to take to the library. It was dedicated in his honor. It is simply a beautiful book and my granddaughter kisses him just like the mother in the book does!

Susan Winter's illustrations are beautiful. The pictures are of baby animals that are getting kisses from their mothers' on different body parts. My 3yr old girl still likes this book, and it was one of the first books read to her when she was a baby. The book also has a good flow of rhyming. "I kiss your small hands as you reach for my face, I kiss your sweet neck, it's my favorite place. I kiss your plump tummy, as round as can be, I kiss your belly button as you grin up at me." That is just a few parts of the book. Highly reccommend for all ages 0-4.
