If you need child safety catches, Buy only these. I have tried 8 different brands and styles, from the spring loaded expensive ones to the the cheap easy use ones. All are terrible. This product Is super strong and secure I have since replaced every safety catch in my house with this brand and I have told all my friends with children to buy only these as well. All of them are very pleased with it and swear buy it. Best product available simple and perfect.

Wow.... I have a huge box full of baby proofing items. I have a lot of drawer locks, my son can get past the lock on the drawer. This one is brilliant. Not only do you have the ability to keep them out, you can take the lock part out of it, if you are in the kitchen working, it is removable. It is like Christmas all over again, finding good items are hard, even the big name brands produce cheap items. Do not look past this item, it is a must have when you are baby proofing drawers. I have not used it on a door, since they don't need them. BUY IT

These work great. I like that when the door is pulled out, they lock into place so there is no concern with my son slamming his fingers in the door or drawer.
