This book is the best I have read so far about mothers having a homebased business. It includes ideas about getting started, examples of mothers who have succeeded, and everything else which involves mothers and their business, such as balancing their careertime and their familytime and childcare...Excellent as a permanent part of your library.

Mompreneurs is an excellent resource for women looking to start or expand a home based business. It is full of useful ideas and case histories of famous success stories. A must read for "entrepreneurial" moms!!

If you are scared or shy about starting your own business and working from home then you MUST read this book. 0ne of the best things about this book are the stories about other mothers, real people you can identify with, who have been successful at working from home. This is a wonderful resource to get you started and answers a lot of basic questions you have about the process. If you don't already have some line of work picked out then you can get great ideas here! I feel that both my business and my family have benefited from this book as there is a lot of information on how to balance the two. You will probably refer to this book over and over again. The $11.70 to buy this book is definitly a great investment!

This book was truly my inspiration for getting off my ... and starting my own public relations/event planning company. I had just graduated from college with a degree in Communications/PR and was working as a marketer when I realized I wanted to be the one deciding what to do with my life. I also couldn't bear only seeing my children for an hour before they went to bed.

I picked this book up on a whim in the bookstore. After reading a tiny part, I knew I had to have it. Just a few months later I have my own business, and am working on my first paying project. This book showed me how to do it, and gave me the inspiration and support I needed.

This is s a good starting point for new moms considering going into home based business. As you develop your business, you'll likely need more specific information, but Mompreneurs will give you a broad range of information to help you get started. I read this book almost three years ago while nursing my first child. I've been in business for two years at ... and occassionally refer back to the book for reminders.

There are more momprenauers today then ever before! This book will help you become a momprenauer! There are so many great ideas on what you can do to start your own business from home. This is one of the best resource books out there for moms wanting to make money at home. This book has helped me grow my ideas for new avenues of opportunities. I was just finishing my copy of this book when I saw the authors were quoted on Oprah's show on June 26. I think the authors have lots of great ideas and they obviously have first hand experience. And to see the book and writers quoted on Oprah gave more emphasis to their points. I would recommend this book to anyone who has started or is even remotely thinking about starting an at-home business.

Patricia and Ellen have created a gold mine of information. It is absolutely filled with essential information for entrepreneurs. Although geared to Moms this book is a must read for anyone starting a business! It is even worth reading as a refresher once your business is up and running! Thanks for all the help!

As a work-at-home mom, I've often turned to the Mompreneurs for advice, tips, and the hand-holding needed to run my own business and take care of my family at the same time. Working at home isn't easy, and we who do it need all the help we can get. These authors really put it all into perspective and honestly face the pitfalls--and then give you the confidence to do it! A very valuable resource for anyone who wants to chuck the commute and make a home office!

This book provides confidence and wisdom about starting your own home business. Everything is included: how to balance your business and home and how to make a business that is your own. I'm not a mom (in fact, I'm not even a dad!), but I do have my own home business that I enjoy greatly (and since I'm in graduate school it has to be low maintenance).
