This book lays out a fail-proof routine for getting your baby to sleep through the night.

Used their sleep methods with both of my kids... She slept through the night at 2 months & he did at 7 weeks.

I cannot tell you the positive impact this book has had on raising our son. My friends and family can't believe how well my son has slept using the schedule in this book. Before reading this book, my son did not sleep at night at ALL! After THREE DAYS he began sleeping 4-5 hours and he has been sleeping through the entire night since he was 8 weeks old. This book should be the definitive guide on how to get your baby to sleep through the night.

Don't believe the negative review of this book stating that you have to let your baby cry it out. That is not what this book is about! It tells you in great detail how to put your baby on a schedule that will make him sleep better and be happier! Babies thrive on a routine and look to us as parents to provide one.

This book/dvd include very practical information for the new mother. The website [...] and e-newsletter are also quite helpful. I've used a number of the same products they suggest on the website and have, likewise, recommended them to other mothers (i.e., nail clippers, bouncy seat, bpa-free bottles.)

We were told about this book by a friend when my son had just turned 7 weeks old. We were getting no sleep and were completely exhausted. He was still waking up in the middle of the night wanting to feed and we were running on fumes. This book changed our lives! After just 1 week of following the schedule my son started sleeping 9-11 hours a night and we had dropped the middle of the night feeding. As a first time mom I have referred to this book and their you tube videos a lot. I have yet to come across any advice of theirs that hasn't worked. My son is 14 weeks now and using their advice we have dropped the swaddle and done so very successfully. This will be a gift to all my expectant friends! This $15 book is priceless! I have purchased the app for my phone and the entire book series up to 4 years of age. I am so grateful for their knowledge and their willingness to share!

So many baby care books out there are data overkill with no useful information... You read and read to find answers to simple, practical questions you need NOW to help your baby sleep, know how much to feed, etc. While other books offer roundabout suggestions, this book is an amazing bullet-point list of how to care for your newborn infant!! I know several moms who have used their swaddling technique and blanket whose babies were sleeping through the night before 6 weeks. Thank you, thank you for a wonderful, easy-to-read guide. I highly recommend!

I purchased this book when our NB was 2 weeks old and crying after every feeding at night. I would be awake practically until the next feeding since everytime I tried to put him back down to sleep he would wail until picked up again. After getting him into a routine things have gone a lot more smoothly.

A lot of what is in the book is really simple and you may be skeptical at first, but it really does work. He is now 5 weeks and I wake only once to feed around 3pm and he goes right back to sleep and sleeps until around 7am. Thanks Ladies!

If you buy one how-to baby book, this should be it! This book lays out a fail-proof routine for getting your baby to sleep through the night. Our son is 18 months old now and has slept at least twelve hours through the night EVERY NIGHT since eight weeks. The Moms on Call have a realistic, practical approach to everything from clipping fingernails to a "typical" schedule for your newborn to reassuring you that it is normal for your baby to cry - and even healthy. This book (and Jennifer and Laura) are a true lifesaver for any mom - and especially a first-time, type A mom!

I originally heard about Laura Hunter and this book from a friend who had a baby two weeks before mine. After hearing their rave reviews, I decided to check it out. Laura and this book gave me my sanity back. As a new mother, I was overwhelmed with all of the literature out there and each one saying something slightly different. The Moms On Call Guide made sense to me, was simple and direct, and better yet, it worked! It worked so successfully that I used the same techniques with my second child and he started sleeping consistently through the night (10pm-6am) by 6 weeks just like my first child. I think some of the negative reviews exaggerated or misinterpreted the book, as I did not have to let my children cry it out or be miserable to sleep through the night. They simply were full, swaddled, and happy. (And by the way, I did breastfeed both my children and never felt like I was instructed not to feed my children when they were hungry.) The book presents tips and suggested routines. We as parents also have to use our judgement and what feels right when taking care of our children. No book can have all of the answers to every situation and for Pete's sake, if you have a medical issue, call your Pediatrician. I still refer to the book constantly and buy it for all of my friends having children. I also personally love the free email newsletters you can sign up for at [...]. I find them interesting and always end up forwarding them to other friends.
