A Must Have Calendar for a Busy Family,
By
This review is from: Moms Family Wall Cal 2001 (Paperback)
As the Mother of 4 busy children, I found this vertical calendar ingenuis. It has a column for up to five family member's name to be filled and there's plenty of space for every person's activities on each day. It makes my life easier and more organized to be able to quickly see what everyone is doing on everyday, and the clever and whimsical drawings make it fun to change the page each month. My 2000 calendar is full and I am so happy that Sandra has decided to do one for 2001. I hope she continues them for many years to come because I do not know what I would do without one!

Good family friend,

This calendar has been a part of our family routine for three years now and is the best one I've ever found for keeping track of busy schedules and appointments. There are columns for several family members. I even include a column for the pets' appointments! My ten year old son says it is great because it is "really well organized"!

This is the first and only calendar I've ever found that actually has enough room to list everyone's appointments. And cute, too. My fourth year.

I too stumbled upon this life-saving calendar for 2000. I have not seen it in local stores as of 10/28/00. Wanting to block off 2001 dates now, Thank You Amazon.com for having needed resources available once again. This calendar lists the days of the month vertically and then has five grids for each day horizontally. In our family Mom and Dad share one grid and each of the kids gets their own. The format helps eliminate overlapping. All Saturdays and Sundays are shaded in a different color so your weekends really stand out. I have plenty of room to include birthdays of our extended family after the day of the week as we have done in the past. Most pages have 6 or more graphics per page. To promote family conversation, I initial the graphics each month as the numbers allowed. We all find humor in it. A MUST TRY ITEM !!!

Mom of 6 loves this organization tool,

Everyone knows what they need to do and when to do it. My 6 children keep me very busy. I only wish this was a little wider so all of us could fit. With 4 in braces and 2 in ballet 3x a week, this calendar has been a great help keeping my husband up-do-date on our obligations.

Much better than the old small, square boxes,

I can't live without this calendar. It helps me keep everybody's schedule straight. The year 2000 version was my first, now I'm so glad to find the 2001. Would have given 5 stars, except the glossy pages are not perfect for writing with a pencil. Also, it would be nice if each month was presented with a small (could even be tiny) traditional-style calendar with 7 columns.

Great organizational tool!,

As did other writers, I stumbled onto this one last year, and will be ordering another one this year. Haven't seen it in the stores as of writing this. The format is fabulous! I know it's more than just another of my organization gimmicks when my husband REQUESTS that we get the same calendar next year--it's usually something that he could care less about! He's able to put his "on-call" days and weekends for work in his column, leaving room for me to put my events, dr. appointments, my daughter's pediatrician appts., dogs' vet appts., etc. in the other appropriate columns--no more scheduling an out-of-town trip when hubby's on call! I recommend this to anyone in charge of juggling their family's schedules!

A True Mom Calendar,

I had gotten to the point with all three of my kids in school and all of their activities, that I just could not keep up with the who, what, and where of it all. Then last christmas as a friend and I were doing some christmas shopping and talking about this very thing we stumbled upon this calendar. We immediately grap one and the rest is history. No more over extending ourself, no more double booking our time, no more missed appointments. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star is it cuts off at the end of the calendar year and not the school year. Maybe Sandra Boynton would consider doing a 18 month calendar. This way I could put all the school information in without having to write it all over the month of December or hanging onto the school notices until I get next years calendar.

Still loving it!,

I received the 1999 version of this calendar for Christmas and totally loved it (and not just because my birthday was in italics already)! Last Christmas I asked for a new one, but my family couldn't find the 2000 version and they gave me a different calendar. It just didn't work, so I ordered the 2000 from Amazon. This year, I'm taking no chances. I already have the 2001 edition, and all my sons' school stuff - - spring break, last day of school, etc. - - is already written in. I hope they keep this format for as long as I have kids at home!

Extremely Busy Family,

I had this calendar in the 2000 edition and it's really great! Instead of only having one block for each day, every member of your family has their own block. It's a life saver for the busiest of families!!! I had to search for a copy of the 2001!! I've got to be ready for next year!
