More About the Author

LeAnn Campbell is a retired special education teacher. She and her husband live on a small farm in the Midwest. Her published works include two devotional books and a four-book juvenile mystery series, with book #5 (Secret Wall Mystery) a work-in-progress. Her mysteries, set in the rural Midwest with clues going back to slavery and the Civil War, also have some fun teaching moments. One 12 year-old said the books are "kind of like spaghetti. You really like it, and then you discover it's good for you."

My children are in college and a junior in high school. Each is so unique and sometimes it is hard to know where you fit in to their lives. This book is a very real reminder that God can help you find your place; letting go is hard but necessary for both you and your grown child. This is an encouraging devotion.

I've use this book for devotional programs for our women's group at our church. The devotional programs were well received but I didn't find a lot to help in my personal devotions and went back to using other materials.

Sometimes it is hard to know how specifically we can pray for our adult children and their little ones. This book gives good guidelines and suggestions for praying effectively for the generations coming up behind us.
