Good Hamilton, but not a breakout novel,

This review is from: The Mona Intercept (Mass Market Paperback)
This seems to have been written as Donald Hamilton's attempt at a "breakout" novel--much longer than the Helm series, different setting, but the same hardboiled characters. It's good, but the Helm books are better.
