I simply love Mona Peck's CD, Mona, Music for the Body, Mind and Spirit, and can heartily recommend it as a simply gorgeous contribution to anyone's personal collection of music. Whereas I enjoy mood-enhancing music, I am often skeptical of taking a chance on an artist of this sort whose work I am not familiar with. Why? Because I have spent many dollars on highly hyped CDs of this genre and have discovered that there is - sadly - often a rather dim line between highly forgettable, meandering "new age" type music and that which I am truly looking for. This CD fills my exacting requirements 100%. What will you find? Consistently beautiful and highly melodic pieces masterfully delivered by an artist who knows what she is doing. Although the tracks are varied (even originals) the artist has taken care to keep her CD very consistent as well, with no jumps within the tracks to salsa or some other diametrically opposed style just to show the artists versatility. If you want something heartbreakingly beautiful to listen and unwind to, music appreciation in the truest sense, Mona delivers.

Talk about finding a cd to relax by. Driving home in a parking lot? Try this woderful music. Need to prepare for meditation ? This is it. Every Dentists office in the country should be playing this cd to relax it's patients. You will find peace of mind with this album. The angels have arrived!

A 19th century poetess once wrote, "I want to be an angel,/ And with the angels stand,/A crown upon my forehead,/A harp within my hand." If we should achieve this same heavenly goal, may we be blessed with the talents of Mona Peck, who plays her harp on this CD with heavenly aplomb. Drawing from Welsh, Irish, Hispanic and Scottish traditions, she also treats the listener to several of her own compositions. All the tracks show her mastery of her instrument and her ability to put the listener at ease. She seems to be in tune with her art and her heart. Truly music for the "body, mind and spirit" as promised on the CD cover. Highly recommended.

Mona Peck has created a wonderful collection of songs, played on harp with a talent and an apparent purity of intent that is both rare and welcomed. I have often been compelled to share the sight of a glorious sunset or a brilliant configuration of moon and stars, the quiet glory of a flower's perfection, or the play of light and sound in a tossing tree. These images of beauty and the echoes of harp music come to mind as I direct your attention to the music on this CD. Each song is performed with an unwavering talent. Repeated listenings continue to enrich my heart with feelings of comfort and an unexpected sense of hope. I encourage you to share an experience of music that consistently resounds with the graceful richness of melodies that seem to move forward with a delicate excellence. This is the sound of sacred music.

If you accept the invitation (and I did), you'll find yourself enveloped in warmth and a calm release. From traditional tunes to original compositions, Mona has skillfully woven tender and haunting melodies that are guaranteed to gently lower your stress level.

What wonderful, calming, melodious Harp music. Yes it certainly is music for the BODY,MIND and SPIRIT! I am a Massage Therapist and I have a client who plays the Harp professionally and when I played this CD for her she was ecstatic. The music and the talent of MONA just helps a person release all the tension of the day and refresh and rejuvenate. I highly recommend this CD.
