If you use a Monadnock or ASP expandable baton, the Hindi baton cap is a necessary addition. Other tactical baton caps allow a better grip on the baton; the Hindi cap does this, plus it makes the butt end of the baton into a more effective impact weapon (should you not be able to deploy the baton itself). As an added bonus, a dropped baton will roll in a tight circle instead of rolling away.

But a new, more effective baton cap is only part of the package. The baton cap should be used in conjunction with Hindi baton cap designer Officer Robert Hindi's Duty Belt S.A.F.E.T.Y. System, which details how to best set up your duty belt to maximize your ability to deploy your tools, thus enhancing your own safety.

Of all the tools on my duty belt, the baton is the tool I'm most likely to use. Therefore, I want it to be as effective as possible. The Hindi baton cap makes a good tool even better.

Please note that the main product picture is incorrect, as it depicts the Hindi Baton Cap for autolock batons. Also, this particular cap will fit Monadnock batons only, as the threads are different from ASP batons.
