Picture yourselves upside down on a music rainbow, your ears lovingly grazing the different tonal colors. You feel wonderful, because it's 2007, and your lobes have latched onto something unusual for this day and age. Mind blowingly great songs by The Pillbugs!!! Gorgeous hooks abound,vocals to die for,warm production, all real instruments... "The World's Most Psychedelic Band" is, in my opinion,the BEST band currently residing on Terra!!!The Pillbug rainbow come full circle, the Creator's Avatar, and hopefully a sign the "flood"(of crap music )is now over!!! God save The Pillbugs..."

I LOVE this band! Mark Mikel's song writing is resplendent! A band of this magnitude hasn't been seen since The Beatle's, Beach Boy's, Monkee's or The Kinks! This is the best music since the 60-70's era! Hard to believe that Toledo has been hiding this major talent for so long! Look out Toledo, you can't keep 'em to yourself ANYMORE! The music is so fabulous ( I absolutely LOVE the sitar!), the lyric's are catchy and make me wanna sing along...Hold Me So Near, Liberty Town Of Love....I'm telling you, if you are into psychedelic or just plain good music you are gonna absolutely LOVE this band and you will run to get copies of their earlier cd's!
They are the past...... in the present...... alive and rocking!

This CD is addicting. I'm not going to compare it to other music. Just listen to the samples and you're hooked for good. I hope they get some CD's in soon. It looks like they sold out on the first day. I downloaded the mp3's till the next shipment comes in. Pillbugs Rock!

All I have to say is wow. Being in the music industry, I have seen hundreds, if not thousands of independent artists, and the Pillbugs are in a league of their own. Power Pop has not seen such great vocals, harmonies, catchiness, and all and all great production values since (I dare say) The Beatles or Brian Wilson. If you are fans of great 60's power pop music than the Pillbugs are a MUST listen for you. You will not be disappointed, at all ......

If you are into well-crafted, expertly and honestly played and written songs and love pop-psych which ventures into the progressive and performed with beautiful harmonies, great backwards guitar, keyboards and sitar and with hooks that leave themselves embedded in your soul forever . . . then you will DEVOUR this preparation! Get it and be wooed. This is a 'best of' with two brand new songs and some re-mixed favourites from previous albums. None of the Pillbugs output will disappoint.
