a fun read,
By
This review is from: Monday's Child (Paperback)
I personally love Louise Bagshawe. I have read all of her books (by the way it bugs me when they change the titles you think Youppi a new one and then bugger its not) Mondays Child is a fun and entertaining read I really loved Anna. Mark was a great leading man. People in other critics have said that Louise always uses the same formula but in Mondays Child she went for something totally different. It turned out really well. My only negative critic would be the cover It Looks Nothing Like Anna At ALL!!!!!!!!!

Fun book with bad ending,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Monday's Child (Paperback)
I loved this book, I kept wanting to read on in the book as it left off at a very annoying time. The character is likeable enough, someone to relate too. But you just have to wonder how she, a person who apparently is HOPELESS at life, ends up the favourite at work? And associated with the very famous producer Mark Swan. It is so unbelievable, and the book unfortunately has a bad ending. It is so predictable, she gets over image problems and everybody loves her. Everybody ends up happy! Don't get me wrong I loved this book right up till the end where I was severly let down, it was as though the author had no more surprises in stock!Try the book, but maybe just lend it or get it at a school fete! |
