Costume jewelry, but they look like real 14K
These are nice earrings, they are comfortable to wear and feel light-weight on the ears, and LOOK like 14K gold. They have held up well considering they are costume quality. Only the post is 14K, and I'm highly allergic to mystery metals, so these work for me.

Incorrect copy
The copy for the Monet earrings read, "14K gold" when in actuality only the posts were 14K gold. Very misleading.

These are great earrings. They look nice and aren't too heavy. No, they are not solid gold nor are the earrings even plated gold--Monet jewelry is made from a patented mix of metals that just looks like gold. This is good quality "costume jewelry."
