Mediocre Reproductions,

I just received this book, which I ordered, sight unseen. I have not read much of the text, as my interest and focus are the paintings themselves. (So, I offer no opinion on the merits of the text.) As for the reproductions of the paintings: they are mediocre reproductions--not horrible but also not very good. The depth of color is simply not there. I am disappointed and wish I had not spent good money for this book.
