This review is from: Monet: Or the Triumph of Impressionism (Jumbo Series) (Hardcover)
This is a beautifully illustrated review of Monet's life, by one of the major scholars of Monet. It suffers as a scholarly source, however, because there are no citations of where quotes or information was obtained. And buyers beware: this is a reprint of Vol I of the 4 volume catolog raisonne--so if you have that set, don't buy it!

This review is from: Monet Or The Triumph Of Impressionism (25) (Hardcover)
This is a great book for a great price. It covers some of his earliest paintings to his very latest during his life. The plates are high quality, some being fairly small to very large, with almost ever print in color with the exception of photographs and sketches. I didn't expect to buy such a comprehensive book, but if you are looking for a book covering ALL of Monet, this is a very excellent book. The text is very comprehensive and this is a great book all and all.
