5.0 out of 5 stars Comprehesive guide, November 30, 2005
This review is from: Monetary Policy in the United States: An Intellectual and Institutional History (Paperback)
This book is a great introduction to the history of monetary policy in the United States. The readability and coverage of subjects allows for a working knowledge of what happened during the major episodes which are covered by this book. The work is faithfully cited to original sources and to other comments which have been made. I bought this book as an undergraduate looking for some more detail to satisfy my curiosity on the some issues raised in classes. I have revisited it many times, and find it a great refresher for encountering new questions to research.
