3.0 out of 5 stars It seemed more like a craft book instead of an money origami., October 15, 2008
This review is from: Money Folding: Making Banknotes into Gifts You Can Spend (Paperback)
I love origami. I usually only fold American Dollar Bills. I give them as gifts and I leave them as tips at restaurants. I am always on the look out for new and exciting books on the subject. I purchased this book titled, Money Folding: Making Banknotes into Gifts You Can Spend. It is a nice book, but I was expecting more origami folds with just banknotes. To complete most of the project, you had to add some other form of paper: papicolor cards, CArt-us cards, origami paper, scrapbook paper, etc. And then there was a lot of gluing and pasting. All that is fine, but I was looking for more of origami projects with just money. I think this book is perfect for family projects with the kids. It was interesting though to see banknotes from other countries being used.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not really worth buying, December 26, 2009

While there a several good money folds in the book, many of the projects are for folding other things than money. Examples are wallets for money, picture frame, cards, etc. If you really want to do money folding, get another book, because this one only has a few actual money-folding projects.

3.0 out of 5 stars Money Folding Banknotes, December 31, 2009
This review is from: Money Folding: Making Banknotes into Gifts You Can Spend (Paperback)
This book had several patterns in it that were simple and a few for experienced folders. All-in-all I got the pattern I was after, but I have read better money folding books.
