5.0 out of 5 stars Cute Title-GREAT Message! August 19, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
And aren't we in the "goo" when we spend more then we earn? This book is so well written. It hits on all
the obvious and some not so obvious aspects of money management and gives us a way out of the financial
mess in which we so often find ourselves. It is short and sweet (but maybe bitter to those who don't like
to tighten the belt or stop buying those daily lattes!) It is an easy read and does not talk over my head
like some accountants do. If you can follow these steps, you will be amazed at the amount of stress that
falls away. To the authors: Thanks for your hard work and good example in first doing this and then sharing
it with the rest of us!

More About the Author

Who is Daniel Minteer?

Daniel Minteer is a musician & songwriter, mechanical engineer, writer/blogger, co-author of a popular personal finance book (Boiled Down Money Goo), recent health nut, and family man.

The Mad Musician.

Minteer enjoys a growing fan base with the likes of the classic rock instrumental Tullorama, a melancholy story told in When It's Too Late, guitar jive from another era Neon Bubble, the catchy pop-rock love song Time With You and countless others, performing all the rhythm, bass and lead guitar parts & vocals in many of his classic tracks.

The Mad Scientist.

Well, maybe mad engineer. Minteer's day job as a mechanical engineer has allowed creativity to often be transformed into some pretty cool innovations. One such Darth Vader looking contraptions is a Minteer "frictionless, single-moving-part" mechanical air flow/vacuum regulators designed for industrial ventilation systems.

The Story Teller.

Daniel's creative writing comes across in relating some humorous life experiences...like the time the neighbor's dog pooped in his yard and he "got even" or when that annoying pink piggy toy famously bit the dust. Look for his blogs, If Your Neighbor's Dog Poops On Your Lawn, and That Annoying Little Pink Piggy.

The Family Man.

Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife and children, mountain biking, long walks, reading, the beach, cooking together and eating!

The Book Author with a Twist.

Daniel and wife Deborah cleverly captured their quest from the poor house to easier street in the humorous and straight to the point personal finances book, Boiled Down Money Goo, tips for propelling your financial future.

Heck, you've already heard a few hardy heckles from your spending practices - it's time to get the last laugh! We all need an unpretentious guidebook of straight to the point ideas on how to be best weather the financial mudslides.

The Health Nut.

The quest of modern society to mass produce food has left us in the dietary dust, with disease and heartache. Could just make a catchy country song - it's certainly sad enough! After much debate, the Minteer's have left the awful diet of modern society and returned to a simple, proven diet for long life, quality health and lower future medical costs. Why doesn't everyone do this, they wonder?

The Poet?

Not a lifetime venture of Minteer's, but song lyrics are poems, right? Yet recently Daniel has been inspired to write several poems, and not for song lyrics. A favorite is A Box In The Shed.

The Bottle Light Nerd.

2012 was a very creative year, and included the all new Walla Walla Wine Bottle Pendant Lights.

Color Me Ugly!

Have you ever wondered how giddy you might be if you won a big lottery? Or just did something stupid? Would your composure just drift amuck like a young dude's ego after cutting the cheese in math class with his wannabe girlfriend sitting in the desk behind?

Hmm...thought so...and chances are your face would look more like the goobers and schmucks at ColorMeUgly than you'd ever want to admit. Color me ugly creates music videos of embarrassing distortions of you or your friends' faces to impress your friends (or embarrass them) and share with a sneering world!
