I am generally a big fan of Patricia Telesco's work. However, I made the mistake of reading this book right after reading "How to be a Wicked Witch". I felt like I was reading the same book twice. The information is obviously slightly different but the formula is the same. If you are new to Telesco, I would definitely recommend this book because she is a lot of fun to read with great ideas. If you have many of her other books, you might want to wait to see if her next offering does not perhaps feel like more of the same. (It kills me to say this!)

This is a excellent book. The recipes are delicious. Everything I have tried works with abundance. I have had tremendous success. The book is very easy to read and understand.

Telesco has always had a pattern in her books - and obviously one that works well for her and her readers. This book uses that construct to cover money magic with the small exception that I've rarely seen in a book like this - that hard work is good magick! It was refreshing. No promises of glory here - just old fashioned elbow grease and good magick. BRAVO

I do recommend this book for good reading and insight. I was really excited to get this book. I read thru it quite easily...but noticed there was not a lot of 'step-by-step' information in casting the spells mentioned. I had interest in joining a 'let's show you how-to-make magick spells' club. It was very expensive. Every time I received an email it was for an additional amount of money to have access to their 'learning modules'. When I would get to one step...then I found out that 'as they put it...really needed the next module..because it was the missing piece of the puzzle'. It was never ending. So, I decided I wanted to read and learn more about casting 'easy-non-harming' spells. This is a good read---but does not really hit on the 'true know-hows' or step-by-step ways of casting simple spells. I know you must be careful with any spell cast (simple or not)--even more so when not simple. I just realized too..that your ENERGY is the true source of spell casting too. This is a very important part of any spell casting. Once you can harness 'your' ENERGY to the spell that you are trying to cast..then it will be successful. Remember to let it go....meaning forget about it. The ENERGY that was used to carry it will help deliver it. The true POWER is your ENERGY. That is the part of spell casting that should be mentioned more in this book and how to harness that very important element. We all have it naturally. Understanding it is POWER too. It needs to be controlled and trained thru meditation and concentration. I understood this for many years of my life that ENERGY was the main source of casting. Just did not know who to bring it about and control it then release it. I always had a natural ability...did not know it was there (sound peculiar-but this is true); once I had realized I had this skill..it needed to be 'cultured' so that I would cast in a more 'understandably, safe way'. I know that there are many books and sources about spells for monetary gain and prosperity...but you must know that the casting POWER actually comes from your 'meditated energy source'-. Some of the methods and ideas that are written in books tell you to cast your spells at certain Moon settings...the problem with that is that if you are not familiar with that information or how to find what it means then you are at lost or needing research more about this topic. So, more books and information about casting should also educate you in all the terms used. Especially when you are a true beginner. You have interest...but do not know where to start.
