Book Description

America is a nation of spenders. This spending has been fueled by a credit addiction that goes back three decades. After the financial crisis, the availability of credit diminished. This was compounded by the fact that many Americans were losing their incomes, forcing people to make tough decisions. The idea of the American dream had to be redesigned, as many were left to ponder how to survive in this new reality. People are looking for creative ways to learn how to save money and effectively manage their money, but they just don't know how. This book explores some common sense and some more sophisticated ways to achieve wealth creation, get out of debt and reduce your dependency on credit; ultimately leading to financial freedom.

This is the best guide to managing money, budgeting, learning how to save money, learning frugality, investing, getting out of debt, and changing your financial mindset to make all of this easy!

Be debt free, save money and have fun!

Editorial Reviews

From the Author

So many people were never taught how manage money or how to budget. People live from pay check to pay check just hoping they could get by. The thought of budgeting or learning how to save money sounds scary and frightening but it really is not at all! You can learn how to save money in simple, easy steps. My book was written to help you learn money management in a way that will not overwhelm you or stress you out even more. Get financial help and keep more of your money while still having fun!

From the Inside Flap

Achieving financial freedom is difficult because it is difficult to understand.  When you ask most people what financial freedom means, you will typically get responses like "being rich", or the ability to purchase items they cannot afford today.

This view has destined many Americans to a lifetime of debt servitude and living paycheck to paycheck.  The true way to achieve financial freedom is wealth creation.  Unfortunately, if the term 'financial freedom' is vague for people, then the term 'wealth creation' might as well be a wholly different language. The first step to create wealth is to teach people what it is.

Though I am outside the age range, it was very interesting reading that included, for me, some nostalgia. Good read! Recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very welcome advice! March 1, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Having been through a few years now of seeing the ramifications of getting into debt (mainly from overspending in the good times!) its become important for me and my family to truly educate ourselves on better ways of handling our money and spending habits, this book addresses that and more and I have found it especially helpful at this time. The budgeting Spreadsheets are very useful but for me the plain advice is so welcome and its well thought out and well worth the
'investment'.

a good, but nothing new. If you've read anything on the subject in the last 10 years, you'll not find anything new here. just not for me.

3.0 out of 5 stars I never got to read it, but it looks good! January 4, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I really wanted to read this book, it is one I have looked forward to reading on the new Kindle Fire with Amazon Prime, too, that my children gave me for this past Christmas (2012). BUT, since, even WITH Amazon Prime, I was told by Amazon customer service that I am only allowed one FREE download book and ONE PER MONTH on the book from the LENDING LIBRARY per MONTH. I read Moby Dick in one sitting.

Wish I could have read it. Sad that Amazon sold me and my children a bill of goods. So when I wanted to return the Kindle Fire, I found out that I would be charge a fee of 30 (thirty) PERCENT of the value of my Kindle Fire and forget about returning the leather cover. Not a chance of returning that leather cover.
