The second season of The Millionaire Wives Club has all the ladies back with the exception of Evan and with the addition of Mrs. Taj Bennett...Vera Wright Turner-Bennett, in case you didn't know. Milan and Kendu are playing house while she mothers Aiyanna, after Evan's tragic death and evil unveiling. Anxious to take the final step since she's loved `Knott' all their lives, she wants the world to witness their united family. Jaise snagged her `wonder man', police officer Bilal, and he is all that and a bag of chips, in all aspects of being a man's man. Jabril has become even more of a spoiled, selfish, self-centered sperm donor than ever and his antics are causing dissension between the newlyweds. Chaunci has made up her mind that she's ready for Idris...she's ready to claim her man. But what happens when someone has already nabbed the prized goose? Al-Taneisha and Lollipop have even secured them a spot in this series and their gear with their swag is enough to `Shut the Daggone Door' for sho! Vera struts onto the set as the famous wife of Dr. Taj Bennett, they have personality, an extraordinary love, as well as more than enough money and designer clothes, furniture, etc, etc.

Money Never Sleeps is an engaging, hilarious, astonishing sequel to our initial introduction to Tu-Shonda's third eye, literally, regarding reality television. These ladies consider themselves elite, elegant, and so very eloquent, but fail to realize the severity and repercussions of their actions when they are under a microscope. Will Milan tire of being the sacrificial lamb in Knott's life and walk away with her dignity? Can she close her mouth and stop being the foolish receptacle of him dumping all of his shi!!?

Baby when I tell you the second season of MWC: Money Never Sleep is a hit, you had better believe it!!!! Milan, Jaise, Chaunci and newest HW Vera are a hit......they will not leave you disappointed. They bring the drama and the craziness to a new level. If you read the first book Millionaire Wives Club, you get to catch up with the ladies from last season, if you haven't read the first book, please pick it along with this one, you will not be disappointed. With secondary characters like Al-Taniesha, Lollipop, Skyy and of course Aunt Cookie and Uncle Boy, you will get your laugh on. Tu-Shonda did it again, with a will written and engaging novel, keep up the good work!

All I can say is WOW! I don't like giving away storylines or plots, but I can surely tell you how I felt about reading this author's work. This book was so much better than the real housewives reality shows it left me in stitches. I mean, I could visualize every word, every sceene, all the drama (OMG, the drama is bananas!), every twist and turn. The situations are real, the delimmas are real and the solutions are real. I can't wait for Season 3 to come out. I was also glad to hear from Vera, Taj, Aunt Cookie and Uncle Boy ("Flipside of the Game" and "Game Over"). At first, I was going like Vera, who is she? Until I read further and saw Taj's name. I said, uh-oh, the Bennits are in the house. We hadn't heard from them in a while and, I loved how they're inducted into Season 2. And, anyone who's read their story knows that Vera and Taj ain't nothing nice.

The MWC characters are my favorite to date. Oh my goodness, I feel a Tu-Shonda read-a-thon coming over me: I need more laughter. To all of you who are wondering whether to get this book, don't sleep; GET IT. You won't be sorry. It has some of everything you're looking for: drama, sensuous sex scenes, humor, laughter, twists and turns. It's well worth your money. If you don't have Season 1, Millonaires Wives Club, make sure you get it to catch up to Season 2.

Thanks Tu-Shonda, you always come through with a good laugh and storyline just when I need it most. You are by far my number one author out of my top three (Keisha Ervin and Wahida Clark). Keep up the good work and keep the drama and laughter coming. Much success to you!

I've had the honor of reading both books and I must say that it is good to read them because I get to read about Jaise's, Milan's, Chaunci's, and Vera's drama. Who knew a person could have that much drama in their lives?! Well written and can't wait until the third one!

This book was a great follow-up to the first book, Millionaire Wives Club. It was easy to read and kept me interested throughout. I would have liked a little more detail at certain parts of the book but overall, it was great...can't wait for the next book!

I have to first apologize to Mrs. Whitaker because I know she is a super talented author but with so many books coming out with «Wives» in the title I kept bypassing the first Millionaire wives book. The first book was the book of the month for my on-line book club and I was immediately hooked from the first sentence. I cheered, gasped, and fell out laughing that I immediately purchased Money Never Sleeps.

I was so happy to see that Chaunci (my favorite) was back and we got to see her become humble being that she is such a «No nonsense kind of a lady». Milan was just Milan but at least her character grew some balls! Jaise is still a two-face heffa but the things she was going thru served her right. (okay sometimes I felt bad for her but then she would say something else dumb). As much as I didnt want to like Vera I did because she reminded me of..........Chaunci. Again this book flowed well, I laughed hard and I hope we can get at least one more season. Tu-Shonda I have read all of your books and I have never been disappointed. I apologize for lumping you in a box with others because THEY bored me with there silly little wives tales...It will not happen again! This was an awesome book, I highly recommend this wonderful entertainig book.
