I bought this title for Kindle hoping to find out some tips about selling books on Amazon, which is something I have been doing for several years. This title (too brief for me to consider it a book - in print it would be a 'booklet') is dated 2008, which means the content likely dates from 2007 and before. It appears to be a collection of digital files (some repetitive) that the author "K.R. Booker" has previously written and likely sold individually as 'business plans' on ebay and elsewhere. If you are wanting to get started selling books on Amazon, this title may be helpful. I have since noted other titles on this subject (actual books) on Amazon. I would suggest checking them out - particularly those with reviews so you can better judge.

As the first reviewer of this title, I will say the author is honest, earnest and sincere. I could not find fault with any of his recommendations, but would have added help on choosing type of books to sell rather than focusing only on quanity and price bought. Condition is very important, and probably 90% of all books published have little to no resale demand. Business and technical, textbooks, medical, travel and how-to topics, for example, have a limited sale life of 5 years or so due to changes making them obsolete. I found this work to be very brief, and some typos to be jarring ('mot' for 'most', 'clock' for 'click', etc). I was concerned to find the first file on selling books repeated at the Kindle '60% read' point. In between were the author's ideas and experiences to make money off books in innovative ways, and I will not divulge his ideas here - I would not have thought of these for my books that do not have enough value to sell to readers and have to give him credit. But they have little to do with 'selling books on Amazon', but rather making books into other types of products to sell elsewhere (ebay, etc.).

Some of his procedures for his Amazon book sales seem curious - so curious that it almost makes me wonder if he has actually sold books on Amazon or only 'visualized' how to do it. He makes handwritten lists of sold titles to pull books for shipment, rather than just take the printed invoices in hand. He keeps his books for sale in groups by size and date of acquisition rather than alphabetically by author or title. He writes mailing addresses on book packages, rather than just using the big-print ship-to address that Amazon provides at the top of the invoices. He recommends manually editing prices on a regular basis to meet or beat lowest prices of other sellers listings, but says nothing about the many available tools that do this tedious task automatically. And (possibly because this title is now about 5 years old) the author does not cover the many enhancements to Amazon or topics like bulk listing, listing improvements to increase sales, etc. He does not mention a barcode scanner as a basic investment for book sellers - I guess he likes typing in ISBN numbers for every title he lists or the 20 digit delivery confirmation number when he ships. At $25, this title is a pricey Kindle title for what you get. I think the author should revise and enlarge this, and get rid of typos and redundant sections.
