But listening to these people, who, among them, are a teacher of the Great Books program, a lawyer, a painter, a former Secret Service agent, and a former student radical who lived underground for several years, money is important but, as the saying goes, it ain't everything. Koppel asks his interviewees such general questions as, What is the ultimate purpose of money? What in life do you most value? How has money affected the quality of your life? And he tailors many of his questions to the occupation of the particular person he is talking to. Good reading. Offers a unique perspective about money. I really enjoyed the interviews too. Yes, money indeed talks! As supplemental reading, I would recommend The Courage to be Rich and More Wealth without Risk. Like Money Talks, the focus is on building wealth, not get rich quick.
