About the Author

AJ Rivers was raised in the notorious Bed-Stuy section of Brooklyn, New York. She developed a fondness for the written language early on as she was an avid reader by the third grade. She became easily sidetracked by the fast life as the years progressed and she became the average student who barely graduated high school. AJ first realized that she was blessed with the skill to write at the age of 16 when she began to gain recognition for the rhymes that she composed. Within two years she was recording songs and touring with many noteworthy artists in the music industry. Her journey on the road to becoming the next female rap superstar was postponed when creative disagreements between her and the record label could not be settled. Throughout it all she has continued to attend college, where she plans to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in English in May 2005. Cash Money is the first novel from this promising up and coming author and it is a classic ghetto tale of love, greed and circumstance. AJ Rivers makes her debut in the literary career with this easy to follow, gripping page-turner. She currently resides in Central Virginia, where she is hard at work on her second book. THIS BOOK WAS A GOOD READ IT KEPT YOU WANTING TO KNOW WHAT WOULD HAPPEN NEXT. IT WAS ALSO LOTS OF LESSONS TO BE TAUGHT.
ONE IS MONEY CAN BE THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL. 2ND MONEY CAN'T BUY YOU LOVE OR HAPPINESS. LAST BUT NOT LEAST HAVING ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD IS NOTHING WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE SOMEONE GENUINE, LOYAL, AND SPECIAL TO SHARE IT WITH WHETHER IT BE FAMILY OR FRIENDS. ALSO, WHAT'S DONE IN THE DARK WILL COME TO LIGHT.

This book was all that! It me one day to read this book, honestly it should be a sequal to this. This book has a lot of realistic things in it, and it can remind a lot of females how a trick really is, even if it is there best friend. This book was so good I would give it ten stars if possible.

Cash Money is Ms. AJ Rivers debut novel and I must give Kudos to her. This story has been weaved quite masterfully. The main characters are well developed and I quickly fell for Free and BJ. This story has a message and it is delivered quite clear, crystal clear. I do have some questions, like what happened to the mother, when did Papi go down, and what ever became of the relationship between mother and son. This is a book that will leave you thinking about it after you have put it down. Kudos to the editor for the editing job is well done. I wish you continued success, Ms. Rivers.
