Ornella Grosz unceasing passion for financial literacy began at home. Coming from a household that lived paycheck to paycheck, she watched as her parents navigated through the murky waters of finance through trial and error. As she grew up, she made the conscious decision to educate myself to every aspect of financial and money management, so she could be prepared for the road ahead. Although her interest in financial literacy flourished in college, she noticed many young adults were falling between the cracks when it came to managing their own money after college. In addition, she understands young adult's need of feeling empowered when making their own decisions. Many young adults don't like being told what they have to do. She understands all to well the apprehensiveness of young adults when told what they have to do. Furthermore, she has seen how people in her generation are getting more and more interested in their own finances, but don't know where to begin. Ornella Grosz understands that as long as young adults have gathered the proper information, they will be well equipped to make an informed decision on their own.

For the past 6 years, she has been working in the financial industry. She holds a BS in Finance from California State University of Northridge. Currently, her experience has qualified her for her role as a Retirement Planner with the Teacher's Retirement System of Georgia, a personal finance writer for Cotton Candy Magazine, and co-creator of iGrad's "Money Mysteries" series.

This is a must buy book for everyone. As a young man just starting my career, I found this book very helpful in learning about saving money and preparing for the future. I found this book very easy to read, which was very helpful to me because I'm not a big fan of reading. The way the book was written made me just want to keep reading, which was good because I usually get bored. I recommend this book for anyone, because it is full of information. I really think that people just finishing college or starting their career's, really young people in general should have this book in their collection. I would like to thank the author for writing this amazing book.

I purchased "Moneylicious" and have been reading it for the past few days. This but has quickly become a favorite in my collection. I am in my late 20's and not someone who is very interested in finance but I wanted a "reader-friendly" book that would help me navigate finance as I get into my 30's and plan to buy a house, pay off some loans, etc. Ornella's approach is perfect for someone like me or even someone more interested in finance. It is a very fun read and is applicable to today's world. She uses clear terms that are easy to follow and gives great tips to really keep your financial portfolio in check. I would strongly suggest this book to ANYONE. As much as some of us try to run away from the world of finance this book is necessary to ensure we are doing what's best with the money we all work so hard for. Go pick up a copy of this book I can't speak highly enough about it!

You can have the best paycheck in the world, but if you don't know how to use it, it won't help you for long. "Moneylicious" is a guide aimed at Generation Y for being smart with one's money and remembering what's important about staying afloat with one's cash while still getting the things you want out of life. Covering investments, savings, and making the important milestone purchases of life, "Moneylicious" is not a read to be missed.

The book was a great resource for those going to college, in college, or graduating from college, teaching them the ins and outs of personal finance. Since there's no formal course, Moneylicious takes on the task of offering Personal Finance 101. It covered many of the bases, but I do wish there were chapters on Career Planning and Starting a Family, as those are still things that fall under personal finance that a lot of Generation Y members are participating in.

This book offers a straight forward, no nonsense approach to finance. This is valuable advice for any age but especially important for young adults embarking on their career. As a nation we are financially ignorant. Moneylicious breaks down barriers allowing those not normally inclined to read about finance access to life changing tools. Ornella Grosz is to be applauded for taking the initiative for educating a new generation.

This book is definitely a must read. I had spent a lot of time wondering how to tackle my finances and exactly where I should start. I had so many questions and would often get overwhelmed and just put it off until another time.

As soon as I picked up Ornella¡¦s book I was drawn in, I grabbed a highlighter and started marking the book up and making notes in the margins. The tips and advice were very easy to follow and it helped me come up with a plan that worked for me. I read the entire book in 3 days and at the end of the week I had a full plan in place. I gave myself enough time to implement the plan and I take my first step in 12 days¡K¡K I¡¦m gonna Check up on it º

Ms. Grosz does a superb job of explaining financial systems in a way that's understandable to a non-banker. I'm not starting out in a career but am finishing one after many working years of struggle & accumulation of retirement streams of income. It is never too late to get help in getting the best return on your investments, even in these troubled & uncertain financial times. Although we don't know what for sure makes money, it doesn't hurt to get the advice of many like Ms. Grosz. This should be on every teenager's reading list as well as their parents' & teachers'. Young people may not have the opportunities we once had for education, advancement, retirement streams & all the other benefits that come with working for a living. Their struggles may be even harder than my boomer generation's. If you are reading this review, think of your children & grandchildren. Give them the best skills available, including how to manage their money, invest it & live within their means. Because of its content, style & friendly presentation, Ms. Grosz earns five stars.
