1.0 out of 5 stars If you want to prosper, then get Dynamic Laws of Prosperity
I found this book a waste of time. You should tell your customers to spend their money on the better prosperity books by Catherine Ponder. You list almost all of her books on your amazon.com site. The best is the Dynamic Laws of Prosperity.

I read this book when I was down and out, desperate for guidance on how to handle money. Not only did it turn me around 180 degrees, but since I read Tarot cards and often people come to me with financial problems, I often recommend this book to my clients. I was amazed that it is out of print since everyone should read this book. Jerry Gillies lays out the fundamental reasons why people are stuck in "Poverty Consciousness", and what to do about it. I have been using the principles outlined in this book for many years, and I can truly say they work. The bottom line is: whatever you think about money is taken as the literal truth by your subconscious and it acts as the captain of your trip through life. So if you tell the Captain to steer you down poverty lane because you can't afford anything--well, duh? Quess what? You wind up not being able to afford anything. It is simple and easy to understand the basics as Mr. Gillies lays them out in this book. Warner Books should seriously think about printing another issue for all of us. Happy reading...

5.0 out of 5 stars Prosperity is on the way!, July 11, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Moneylove: How to Get the Money You Deserve for Whatever You Want (Paperback)
This is one of those books that can change everything you have ever believed about something. In this case, money. Mr. Gillies takes all the "evil" out of money and puts the whole concept of it back into perspective. Are you tired of not having enough money to make it from one paycheck to the next? More importantly, are you wishing for extra money to take trips, buy a home, or give to your favorite charities and friends? Then take a look at this book. With the right attitude, there is no reason that the energy we call money can't be in your life, too. There is PLENTY for everyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVED THIS BOOK, March 24, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Moneylove: How to Get the Money You Deserve for Whatever You Want (Paperback)
When I found out this book was out of print I felt very fortunate to know that I'd bought and read it. I bought it from a thrift store for 10 cents and put off reading it for a long time due to spiritual connotations (the love of money is the root of all evil). This book puts that concept to rest. It's not a lengthy book, rather, just the right length. I read every self-improvement and wealth-building book I can get my hands on. Again, if prosperity thinking is your bag, look for this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Start Improving Your Financial Life Today, May 29, 2008
This review is from: Moneylove: How to Get the Money You Deserve for Whatever You Want (Paperback)
Perplexed about your financial life and how to improve it? Well, be perplexed no more. Jerry Gillies' Moneylove draws back the curtain on the multi-faceted process inherent in changing your financial life for the better - permanently.

While Gillies clearly believes that building wealth begins as an "inside job," he's even clearer that real work permeates the process. Throughout the book, Gillies bridges the sometimes wide chasm between the ideas behind both the Law of Attraction and Prosperity Consciousness and the realities of making money and building wealth on the physical plane, here and now. Yes your thinking is vitally important, but no more important than sensible money management, running your own business, learning to sell, and enjoying your money today as you stack your chips.

Though many newer books traverse some of the same ground, it's Moneylove's insistence that financial satisfaction and financial independence trump financial security that truly sets it apart. Bottom line: enjoying your money today, while you do the necessary work to have more tomorrow, fuels and re-fuels your efforts both consciously and subconsciously.

Reading Moneylove can help you see not just the big picture, but the whole picture. In doing so, it can take the mystery out building your wealth - once and for all.
