Olaf Meinhardt has been traveling the world on foot and by bicycle since he was a teenager. A freelance photographer, he publishes travel photo essays in magazines and books with a special focus on his favorite topics: Mongolia and South America.

Achill Moser has been active as a freelance journalist, photographer and book author since 1979. He also works for radio and television and organizes exhibitions and slide shows.

I am thinking of going to Mongolia and bought this book as a supplement to standard guide books. I wanted to see what the different areas of the country look like. I am very pleased with the book. Beautiful photographs - not too artsy - and with a high quality of production. Covers many areas of the country. The text is well written and informative. I was somewhat puzzled that there was no copyright date. I assume the book was translated from German or some Scandinavian language, or imported from one of those places, given the authors' names. If so, a well-done translation.
