Just saw it on there last week for much cheaper.

And also changed the rear gear from a 16 tooth to a 22 tooth gear and it makes it a bit easier to peddle.

The idea is to ride for the fun of it and to get some legitimate exercise.

I really like my mongoose beast. Heads up, the headset came too tight, so I had to loosen it as soon as I got it. It was so tight turning the handlebars was difficult. Also the bottom bracket could use some more grease.

I've heard inflating the tires to 30 psi is risking a blowout, at 20 psi mine is great on pavement.

But, the most important thing is, DO NOT PAY 400$ plus shipping for this. You can get them at wal mart or there online site. I got mine for 200$ shipped to my door.

26" x 4.0" tires Also Know as a Walgoose, Fat Wally, Moon Tires, no matter what you call it this is a fun to ride bike. Gets lots of attention and is ready for customization. I changed the stem and added Ape handle bars, put on t a Schwinn style springer seat, and better pedals. This is an entry level fat tire bike and can be found for better prices on other sites.

I am 63 years old and was told to start working out and this seemed like a better investment than a Treadmill. I live in the panhandle of Florida and have miles of dirt roads to ride on. Best dam 200 bucks I've ever given to Wall World. I love it and everyone wants to know where I got it. I tell them Walmart.com but I can't get it on there now. I did add a larger cruiser seat and leather grips. And also changed the rear gear from a 16 tooth to a 22 tooth gear and it makes it a bit easier to peddle. They need to bring it back , don't know why they don't have them anymore.

I just purchased this model bike from a local Walmart store for $199, and don't see much sense in paying more elsewhere (not that I'm a big fan of Walmart). The seat has a very long stem, making it fully adjustable for most any adult rider. Yes, it's a single-speed bike with coaster brake: your bare bones bicycle, of the sophistication I rode throughout childhood. Riding it on level ground or gentle inclines is easy pedaling. I have no problem walking it on very steep hills. The idea is to ride for the fun of it and to get some legitimate exercise. This bike fills the bill for me. Very cool-looking (if not odd), guaranteed to attract attention. The fat tires make for smooth, comfortable and novel riding over all but the roughest terrain, and I don't find the frame to be particularly heavy. I'm looking forward to taking my Mongoose on the trails and open meadows of the National Forest where I have often camped and gone hiking!
