I bought these for my 5 yr. old son and the teal ones for my 6 yr. old daughter and they love them. I checked out alot of skates before making a decision. I went with the Mongoose skates because they have good bearings, 70mm wheels, which are a good size for beginners, two straps and laces for support, they adjust 4 sizes so they will last for years, they look good and the price is low. I was skeptical to buy them before looking at them but they were shipped quickly and I was impressed when I opened them up, they are well made. My kids say they are comfy and sturdy and they skate all the time.

Bought this for my 11 year old son - he is a size 5 and these fit him wonderfully. He has used them several times at the skating rink and says they feel great. The wheels do not slip on the smooth rink floor (I actually bought him another pair originally and had to return them because he couldn't skate at the rink - they were slipping all over the place). These are great skates and they look great on him....no problems so far

All three of my kids have these skates and love them. Here's the problem with these skates...you can't find replacement parts! One son lost a wheel, axil and all, and now we can't get the parts replaced because it is impossible to find them! How sad. I guess we must now buy new skates! He has only had theseMongoose Boys In-Line Skates two and a half months!

We bought these skates for our ten year old son after trying several other brands. He loves them. They are comfortable, easy to put on, and very smooth skating-wise. He has worn them inside and outside the house and they wear well. He actually loves to skate around the house in them (which we have allowed because of the cold weather and snow). He has made sure not to use the brake while inside the house and has not scratched the floor at all. We definitely recommend these skates for all kids. They are inexpensive and the good news is that they can be resized as your child's feet grow.

I bought these for my 9 year old on his birthday. He used them for 4 days and the screws started coming out of them. We literally went around the block and when coming back home found a group of screws on the ground. It took us a bit to figure out they came from the skates. When we stopped to look closer the entire wheel base was loose and coming off the skate. It would have been a disaster but luckily he wasn't hurt. I was so concerned that I returned them and looking for a more solid skate to purchase. I don't even want to take the chance on another Mongoose pair. Too bad because they seemed to fit well and he really liked them!

I bought these for my 9 year old grandson. He has loved them. They fit great and he says he's faster than any of his friends because of the easy, smooth roll of the wheels. Bought my other grandsons the Schwinn skates and they all like these better. The price was great and the shipping was free.

We purchased a pair of Mongoose skates for our granddaughter when she was 5 years old. We purchased these skates when recommended by a parent of another young child at the skating rink. My granddaughter LOVES these skates. She has improved in her skating abiilty immensely since using these skates versus the rental skates at the rink. Also, the skating rink sold another brand of skate for almost twice the price. We had her give the higher priced skates a test run and offered to buy those for her if she liked them better, and she liked the Mongoose skates better. The people at the skating rink said that the Mongoose skate does have a higher quality wheel bearing than some skates on the market, which makes all the difference when skating. Anyway, I wanted to let other parents know that my granddaughter has now had these skates for over a year and she puts them on all of the time and skates all over the house and we go skating fairly regularly at the local rink. We have gotten our money's worth and lots of FUN out of these skates! She is learning to skate backwards in them now! I think they are a GREAT product at a GREAT price!

I purchased two pairs of these skates for my boys ages 5 & 8. My youngest wears a 12 1/2 shoe size, so I need to adjust the skate size all the way down to a 1. It is impossible to get them to lock into the size 1 setting. If you can get it down to that size the first time he skates it pops right out. Other than that we have been pretty happy with them!
