I Don't understand why so many seem to have had such an issue with the 1-day treatment; perhaps they have a very different chemical makeup in their bodies than I, or perhaps they were trying to treat what wasn't a yeast infection with yeast infection medication, but I had NO discomfort WHATSOEVER using the 1-day treatment.

I was extremely skeptical before purchasing it, but I experienced instant relief in many ways, and had no burning, stinging, itching, or discomfort of any kind related to the product itself.

I used it during the day because I was otherwise ill and planned to spend the day in bed, anyway. I did get up and move around a bit which did lead to some leakage, so I of course would recommend that unless you are completely confining yourself to your bed, follow the directions and use this overnight.

Anyway, the next day my symptoms [which had included INTENSE itching, burning, and severely swollen labia minora] had improved some 85% and the day after that I felt 100% symptom free!

I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone with a confirmed yeast infection. It is much less of a hassle than the, 3-, 5- and 7-day products and it works wonders, in my opinion =)

There are times when the "not so fresh feeling" has gone over the edge into a full-blown yeast infection. You know what it is (been there, done that), and you don't want to make a doctor's appointment when you know it's just a yeast overgrowth. Yeast infections (not truly an infection - actually an overgrowth) are more typical nowadays because all of the chicken and beef we eat (unless you only eat organic meat) is chock full of anti-biotics that kill the healthy flora in your gut - causing yeast overgrowth in the intestines and also in your nether regions.

It's a good idea to also eat yogurt and/or take acidopholous and megadopholus pills when fighting a yeast infection - you don't just want to fight off the yeast, you want to fight back with a vengeance - getting the balance of healthy bacteria with yeast to have a balanced system from top to bottom.

Monistat is fairly straight forward to use and compared to a yeast infection, it is in no way inconvenient - I can't imagine what women must have gone through a hundred years ago! Thank God I live in the 21st century!!

I bought this under this misconception that this will treat a yeast infection in one day as opposed to three or seven days. Well this products has side effects that are worse than the yeast infection symptoms. It causes slight burning but tickles like crazy when you first use it. And it took the same amount of days for the yeast infection to clear up as it would if I would've bought a three day kit. The three day kit is not as severe. I won't waste my money on this again.

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and today my doctor diagnosed me with an yeast infection (my first ever). It's now 1am and I've been pacing around the house unable to sleep with all the burning and stinging I've been feeling since I inserted the ovule! I know the instructions say that while using the product we may expererience "mild" increase in the burning and itching, but this is just ridiculous! The cream has done NOTHING to help sooth the symptoms, and I don't know if the ovule is actually working or just making it worse! I don't recommend this to anyone and will probably try a pill or something different if I ever get another yeast infection.

I used the one day ovule last night and was up in the middle of the night because I had terrible burning pain and itching. I didn't have either of those problems until after I inserted the ovule. I tried using the cream that comes with it and it did absolutely nothing. I got up and tried using a cold wet washcloth to see if that would help but it didn't. I would never use this product again.
