I am a middle-aged man, have a large/wide build, and have been tormented by severe groin chafing for years. It affects me at my job, sometimes limits my activities, and often keeps me from exercising.
Last year, my wife found this wonderful product, and it has made my life a lot easier. I can work longer shifts at the hospital without being in agony. I can exercise more.
I recommended this stuff to a buddy at work who is bigger than I am, and he likes it as well. My brother-in-law just started using it, too.
Lots of guys suffer from chafing, but not a lot of guys have the guts to shop in the feminine hygiene aisle. They'd rather keep walking around feeling like they have a cheese-grater strapped between their legs. They need to repackage this Chafing Gel for guys, and put it in the shaving section or something.
This stuff won't eliminate chafing by itself, however. I have to watch my hydration and salt intake, and I wear Nike Pro Shorts when I work or work out.
I love it so much that I even shared it with my friends. Even though it says "Monistat" and people instantly think of yeast infections. Everyone was impressed, and the powder gel lasts a long time: we all spent hours walking around the city over a hot and humid few days and only needed to apply it to our legs once or twice a day.
First of all, I am 39, with fairly normal skin. No major problems yet, but starting to see some crows feet and laugh lines, and enlarged pores on the apples of my cheeks. So I just started using primer about 2 or 3 years ago. I've been a fan of Revlon's primer, but I'm noticing it doesn't really do the things a primer is supposed to do. It makes my makeup last, but doesn't fill in any creases or wrinkles, and doesn't seem to help at all with enlarged pores.
This stuff does all that and more. It has a creamy, powdery texture, that when applied to your skin just feels so good. A pea-sized dollop easily covers my entire face and neck. I read that for best application, you should pat it into your skin after you moisturize, then do a quick, light blend with your fingers. This way it gets into the nooks and crannies and evens out the surface better. I've tried that and it really works. Let it sit for about a minute, then continue with your normal routine. My makeup goes on easier, lasts all day, and all my skin imperfections seem to disappear, or are at least very minimized.
So for a greatly reduced price, I'm getting all the benefits of an expensive primer. I have been telling all my girlfriends to try it. You should too!

What a life saver. I've never had a "thigh gap" which is why I hate wearing skirts or dresses. With this my closet is slowly getting filled with both. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Nicola
Love using this in place of overpriced Smashbox primer. I mix with BB cream as a light layer for a "no makeup" day or to prime under full makeup.Published 1 month ago by Mary
I use this for under my make-up powder - it is wonderful. I do sometimes use it for it's "intended" use and it is also great for that.Published 1 month ago by TJ
