I bought this for our 6-month old infant daughter because she liked to chew on board books so I thought this was a good alternative. Unfortunately she continued to prefer to chew on the board books. Now that she's a year old, she's much more interested in this interactive, squishy book. Also, the tag says "surface washable" but I tossed it in the washing machine anyway, and it survived just fine.

We received this book as a shower gift before our daughter was born and thought it was so cute. Well, after she was born, this book became the absolute favorite, must take everywhere toy! Beginning as an infant, she loved the bright colors. Now that she's four months, her favorite thing is to grab onto the 3-D cloth characters and stuff them in her mouth. This has ended up being one of the best gifts we were given. Now I'm online looking for more books like this to give her for Christmas.

Very interesting book and nicely done. But for some reason it does not hold my son's attention - as I was hoping it would. The colors are kind of washed off and not as bright as I would like and the book is too soft - as a result it is somewhat difficult to hold it and read it. Need to be a bit sturdier perhaps...
