My three year old daughter loves this book and makes me read it to her almost nightly. The story is great and easy for her to follow and the illustrations are some of the best I've ever seen in a kids book.

I really enjoyed Monkey of the Month! The illustrations are bright, lively, and appropriately cartoony--they reminded me of all of the animated shows I used to watch after school, like Tiny Toons and Animaniacs. The story is charming and inventive, the tale of a young boy who receives an unsolicited membership into the "Monkey of the Month Club," leaving his long-suffering mother to deal with the consequences as the monkeys and apes just keep arriving and taking over the house as the year goes on. I loved the variety of monkeys--it was a nice touch that kept the visuals varied and provided a lot of opportunity for personality quirks and sight gags. The ending of the book has a neat surprise that I won't spoil here, but it made me laugh out loud. Definitely recommended, and I can't wait to see what they write next!

I read Monkey of the Month, in exchange for review from Netgalley.com. The book was written by Adam Cramer. The book was also published by Schiffer Publishing LTD. The book is about a boy, who receives a different type of monkey each month, for a year. Each monkey has a different talent, such as cooking or cleaning. Towards the end, the mother gets tired of the monkeys. The book has a happy ending. The pictures are cute, colorful, and hilarious. Love this book and so did the kids.

This books is so much fun! The kids absolutely love it. In fact they loved it so much, we actually gave a copy as a gift for neighbor at a recent birthday party. Not only is the story cute and captivating, but the illustrations lend themselves to so many fun discussions as you are reading the book over and over again. This is a story they will want to read again and again, of that I have no doubt. Another thing I loved about this book is that it is truly gift quality. The paper, the binding, the cover jacket are beautiful. I find it more and more difficult to find really high quality books to give as gifts, so this is very important to me.

I must say this is one of the best children's book I have seen in a long while. The bright illustrations were so beautiful and uplifting with bright colors and details to look at while reading the story. My grandson just loved it and most of all the ending. He laughed so hard and said his mom would be scared if that showed up at his house. Very well written and fun!

I heard this book read today at a children's literature workshop and placed my order immediately. I recommend this book to parents and teachers of PreK to 2nd graders. Although a group will enjoy this book, it's also perfect to read one on one with a child in order to linger over the visual humor and wacky story. Any adult who has been cursed at the holidays with a gift of The Fruit of the Month club will love the Kramer's take on this lame gift idea. Hey, Kramer Brothers: more, more more. I give you 4 stars...saving the 5th star for your next book. ;)

My eight year old granddaughter loved this book. Even commented on how expensive this book looked! She learned a few new words and enjoyed reading this book over and over. I hope this author brings us more stories that are entertaining to all age groups. Rac
