Product Description

Great for any sports enthusiast - but if you were always more comfortable in solving equations in math class than throwing the pigskin on the field, here is your chance to prove your athleticism! Join all the non-identical wooden pieces together to create the classic football shape. For showing, not throwing! The ball is approximately 3 1/7" in diameter.

Caveat: I am an adult and like a challenging puzzle. This toy might be suitable for a young child.

I have several other wooden puzzles by Monkey Pod Games and they are all of very high quality, with nice tight fit tolerances and a good level of difficulty. This one is an unfortunate exception. Not only is the puzzle extremely simple (to the point of being no challenge whatsoever), but the one I got has a poor fit -- much too loose -- and the 6 pieces actually fall apart.

If you're looking for a nicely challenging puzzle with a good fit between the pieces, you may want to consider The Diamond Cube instead.
