This is most definitely a Modeselektor CD from its essence to it's featured guests, this CD oozes total Modeselektor style of IDM in its best form pre 2005. Worth the money for the tracks, but the only complaint here is likely on amazon's part, as the tracks feel almost silent, like they're whispering to you to the point you have to physically turn up the volume to hear them.

If you love the first two albums, are into Thom Yorke or just dig some great electric beats. Do this.

Just stumbled upon this album by chance and all I have to say is ... wow. Every song has such strong buildup, luring your in, and grabbing at you and pulling from so many different directions. I just listened to the entire thing through and ordered it on vinyl immediately after. If you like great basslines with Thom Yorke on vocals (hes on a few tracks) this is definitely an album for you. Kudos, Modeselektor.

this album is so incredible and is an absolute masterpiece. i cant believe no one else has reviewed this album yet!

the album opens up really strong and (almost) finishes out great. the only reason i say almost is because i'm not a huge fan of the last track, "War Cry". i appreciate what they did to make the song and think it is really creative but as a song, its not my thing. other than the last song, this album is flawless.

standout tracks: Blue Clouds, Pretentious Friends (awesome drive), Evil Twin (amazing bass groove), German Clap, Berlin (i love the rhythm in this track), Grillwalker (one of the best bass lines i've ever heard in my life), and Green Light Go. i was surprised that i didnt like the thom yorke tracks more. i found shipwreck a little weak, but still a good listen.

BUY IT! it gets better every time you listen to it. amazing follow up from Moderat

I don't agree with the other reviewer: I think the last track is great and and all the tracks WITHOUT the featured guest artists are great and unique, those guests mess things up in my opinion.
