An odd one, this. Members of Redd Kross, White Flag, and other L.A. scensters pay homage to various Beatles tracks... the results are both funny and melodic. As the 'track listing' on this page would indicate, the actual track-listing on the CD is all-over the place. Worth checking-out for Redd Kross fans.

I have been looking for this full-length album for years. I have the vinyl 45, "Who Has Seen The Wind/Bohemian Rhapsody," and it's a MUST for any Beatles/Lennon-Ono/Queen fan. What a clever bunch they were to have put this track together. There's a bouncy version of "Rain" and a nice rendition of "Strawberry Fields Forever" on here, too. The neat thing is all of the weird bonus material that isn't even on the liner notes that seems to go on for 15 or 20 minutes after you thought the CD was finished. I liked what this group did. It was partial parody and partial tribute. Yoko Ono has been picked on for years-- but on this CD-- it's almost as if she is lauded as a great creative genius....or are The Tater Totz just poking fun at her and Mr. Mercury on "Who Has Seen The Wind/Bohemian Rhapsody"? The only set-back to this CD is that for some reason the audio mastering is at a low volume. So, as The Rolling Stones used to say, "PLAY LOUD."
