4.0 out of 5 stars Quality Not Quantity
While the assortment of monologues is not very large in this book, the chosen material is of good quality and taste. Of course, one should always read an entire play before performing a monologue from that play, but each of the included monologues is interpretable and understandable on its own. Therefore, each is good for auditions.

I'm that fish-out-of-water character -- an undergraduate grandfather. With but one exception, these monologues are all for teens. Next time I'll steer clear of such works labeled "student" even though students of theater come in all ages.
