My (adult) friends and I are completely addicted to this game! Hands take 15 to 30 minutes so it's a perfect diversion during an informal meal or drinks. Playable with as few as two, this game really comes into its own with four or five players. It's easily learned during a single round but probably takes at least 10 to get good at as there is a lot of strategy. Luck plays a significant role(and fortunes can change quickly)but the advantage goes to the alert player who knows how to use their cards.
The shuffler is not really worth it imo. It's huge and a bit awkward. The two halves separate so you can get the cards in and out but they don't nest and it would take as much space in a glove box or purse as a medium tissue box. I'm not sure how well it works, either, or how gentle its mechanical action will be on the cards. For children with small hands, it may be a game-saver - as the deck is 106 cards! Still, I prefer to shuffle by hand. (For 6 or more players Parker Bros recommend using a double deck - 212 cards - but the shuffler holds a single deck)!

while the card game is lots of fun the shuffler was a major disappointment. the cards get jammed in the slots and you have to work to dig them out time and time again. it is so much faster shuffling by hand.

I, personally, am a huge Monopoly lover. Name a Monopoly and I can show it to you. This isn't the kind of game you have to play with for hours and wait for your brothers to throw a fit cause they're bored. It takes 20 minutes with 4 players playing to 5 property sets to win.
Some people said that there is too much money cards. Well, that's sorta true, but it's not a bad thing. You--and other players can keep a well stocked bank, so you won't regret it when somebody asks you for a stupendous rent amount. It is kinda sad there is only 2 Deal Breaker's--and only 3 Just Say No's. The 10M bill--golden one--is a one of a kind. Let me just say that the person who made it probably didn't assume it, but thesecond you put it in your bank, every single player is charging you big rent so yougive it to them--theythinkit's a pathway to winning or somethink.
Those cards are durable, and really good for building cardhouses. The idea of houses and hotels is fun, but it totally depends on luck of drawing it. I try not to put them down unless I have a rent--and that is because if another owns Deal Breaker, when they steal the house and/or hotel property, they get to take it as well!
Overall, this is a great product.
