This is the newest edition of The Simpsons Monopoly Game. Simply put, this game is great! Some changes from the older edition include a new board, new player pieces, and a few other cosmetic designs. The greatest and most obvious change though is the new Electronic Debit Card system. That's right: no cash involved whatsoever! This is a great feature that makes for some fun, fast and hassle-free play. Each player gets a card and makes all money transactions with the electronic gizmo included: just insert your card into either the pay or collect slot, punch in the numbers and keep the game rolling. This new feature really is the center point of this new edition. Otherwise it's mostly the Monopoly you've come to love. There's a colorful and easy-to-use rule book that gets you started quickly, and, as always, you're still at liberty to adjust certain rules to your liking without ruining the gameplay. The only real downside to this edition is that it could easily have been more Simpsons-oriented. You have the board and the tokens, but you don't really feel like you're in Springfield making a difference, or pitting your favorite characters together. If you play long enough, like an hour, it feels like typical Monopoly. I wish they would have found a way to immerse you more into The Simpsons theme, because it really just boils down to the board, the few small player tokens, the debit cards, and that's about it. If you love Monopoly and like The Simpsons, you will really enjoy this new electronic cash edition. If you LOVE The Simpsons and like Monopoly, you'll be pleased, but not thrilled.

Our grandchildren visited us and we had a ball with this hip version of monopoly which uses an "ATM" machine for calculating money. It went much faster,and not having to handle paper money was a treat--so much so that we had a marathon weekend of monopoly!! Instead of dreading a game I had lost interest in, we have a renewed interest in an old favorite. We absolutly loved it!

A good fusion of Monopoly and The Simpsons. I have enjoyed it and my friends have too. I wasn't too sure about the "electronic" part but it is okay,the novelty wears off after a while.I bought at a great price during the holidays.

I have many different versions of this game, and this one is one of the best I have. It is well made, and well thought out. Some of my games seem rushed and don't really work well, but no such issues with this one!

I loved playing it with my Husband and Family over Christmas, but due to it arriving with a few wrong pieces I had to return it and get a full refund, at the time Amazon didn't have another one in stock, so then because I loved it so much my husband bought it at Toys 'R' Us in the January Sales, got it for a great price :)

Love this board game, it's a shame some of the pieces that came with the game was wrong, otherwise I would have kept it.

Either way I have it now.

I got this for my 10 year old and he loves the fact that it is the Simpsons. We figured out after playing a couple of games that, just like in original monopoly, you need one person to be the banker. As much as the electronic version is fun, it takes too long to pass the credit card machine around. Overall, we love this game!!

The perfect gift for anyone who is obsessed with the Simpson's and Loves Monopoly. A classic board game spruced up a little with a theme.

this product is awesome.. it was delivered on the very first day of the estimatted delivery and i dont even live in the US, im a canadian citizen... IT could be better in some places, like they could have added the simpsons theme in more places..like after a few hours it felt like normal monopoly.. it could be better but i still enjoy

Excellent for my teenage daughters instead of electronic games they are now they know how to thing about money and investments or life game !!!!
