I originally had the 1st generation monopoly pinball game(different artwork). It had a problem where the playing surface decal wasn't fitted right and prevented the spinner from rotating. I called Funrise toys and they were extremely nice to deal with and offered an exchange all free of charge. They sent me the newer Monopoly model. The spinner works fine but the surface still doesn't fit correctly, so the ball tends to make odd turns. Not a huge deal but noticable if you play a lot like I do. The sound effects are actually from the Alien Attack version of the pinball game and has nothing to do with Monopoly. Also I was a little disappointed with the lack of flashing lights anywhere except the few on the playing field which light up regardless of whats going on in the game. Score is also a bit conservative with most bumpers only giving you 1 or 2 points. It's also extremely difficult, so don't expect games with a score higher than 300 points. There also isn't any special targets to shoot for. There is the ramp on the upper left which you only get to by chance and even when you finally do make it the reward is very small (around 10 points). You also get a bonus is you can get your score to display 7, 77, or 777. Thats about it for special scores. There are also no magnets on the bumpers, so the ball doesn't get repelled or bounce when it hits something. Heck, even my Tomy Atomic Pinball game from the 70's had magnets on the bumpers. Even with these downsides the machine is pretty large, looks great in a room, and gets pretty adictive. I love it, though I wouldn't pay more than 80 for it. It's the best thing next to a large sized thousand dollar machine.

This is a very good pinball machine. My kid loves, it, and I like it a lot, myself. However, keep the box. On our's, the spinning ball bumper did not work. The "floor" of the game was not secure enough and kind of had slight "bubbles" in places which interfered with the rotating bumper. Originally, we did not know the thing was even supposed to spin, so (after it seemed in good working order) we threw out the box. As we figured out what the round thing was supposed to be (a spinner), I started thinking about how to fix it. I eventually put a small sheet metal screw into the "floor" of the pinball machine to keep it from interfering with the spinner. (The screw doesn't interfere with the ball.) ...if I had kept the box, I would have returned it... Now, it works perfectly, and we are enjoying it as much as we were before we realized it wasn't quite right. It really is a surprisingly good pinball machine.

I have this pinball machine..It is fun for the smaller kids..But the teenagers don't find it all that great...The legs on the game are pretty wobbley and sometimes certain numbers don't show up on the scoreboard...This game is alright for someone ages 8 to 11..
