5.0 out of 5 stars monopoly jr, June 28, 2004

I bought monopoly jr for my 4 1/2 year old. It is easy enough for a young child to understand but is also fun for and older child. My son loves to be the banker. He gets to hand the money out and collect it. Monopoly jr teaches children about addition and subtraction. The game lasts for only a short time which is perfect for smaller children. The game constantly changes every time you play.

Shrek Monopoly is a lot of fun to play with my five year old. It is one of his favorite games. He is learning addition and subtraction as well as how to follow the rules of a game. The entire family enjoys it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for everyone, September 6, 2004

I bought this game for my 5 year old. I tell him we will play after he takes a bath and gets his pajamas on. I honestly haven't had to ask him to do either twice since we started playing.
What a great educational game. Adding, subracting, reading, and of course, learing how to obey the rules and be a gracious winner and not a sore loser. Winning and losing also depend on a certain amount of luck so I don't have to "throw" the game once in awhile to let him win. He has beat me fair and square.
We have quite a few games at our house and this one is my favorite to play with my son.
