Anyways, the cable comes braided and it feels fantastic. The three connectors for Xbox, PS3, and Wii all feel beefy and solid. I really like this cable and it was a great purchase for me, as my old roommate broke my TV's only HDMI port, so I got this to replace my video input source to be in full HD. If you need a great audio video cable for your PS3 or Xbox buy this cable! You won't be sorry that you did!
I had to reset my PS3's AV settings to get it to work because my PS3 was in HDMI mode. This is a problem with the PS3 itself, as it doesn't auto-detect new video output cables, unfortunately. For those interested to reset a PS3's audio video inputs press and hold the power button on the front of the console then when the green light is flashing shut-off the console from the back power switch. This will reset your system to display in normal AV input.
- It costs a bit more to purchase this through Amazon.com than through Monoprice.com. Not by much but we all love to save money where we can.
- Cable is thick and stiff. I am not sure this will be an issue but if you are fishing it through tight spaces, it can be a nuisance.
- With PS2 (Fat or Slim), you will get a better picture quality with PS2 games. However, if you use PS2 to play PS1 (PSone) games then make sure your HDTV support 240p resolution or you will not get picture output on your TV.
- This is versatile cable so you can use it to plug in Xbox 360 and Wii as well. Just not all at the same time.
it works, picture quality is only slightly worse than HDMi. Don't get me wrong, the picture is still very good. HDMI is just better. PS2 does not support HDMI and the quality from this cable is superior to the yellow/red/white cables that the PS2 came with.
Here's how it's working for me. With both consoles on, audio and video is a mess of course. With the Wii turned off, the PS2 audio and video works fine. However if I turn off the PS2 from the front, and then turn on the Wii, I get no audio on the Wii. Picture is good, but no sound. If I turn off the main power on the back of the PS2, the Wii is fine. So I have to keep the PS2 in a spot that makes that switch easy to reach. That's acceptable I think. I also have an Xbox 360, but that's connected with HDMI, so I haven't tested the cable with that.
The picture on both the Wii and PS2 are good on my 65" Vizio. Not HD, but pretty good. For the Wii I get full screen video. PS2 is almost full screen, just a bit narrow with black bars on the sides. It's not HD, but still a great picture for these consoles. Especially the PS2, considering it's 13 years old.
Construction seems really solid. The cable is a little stiff, but I think that's because it's so stout. I do wish it was longer. 6' seems like it should be long enough, but 9' would have been nice.
While I don't enjoy the white color, that isn't anything to dock stars for. The cable does it's job perfectly and provides a nice output for PlayStation 2 games on my 42" HDTV. The cable ends are a little heavy, so that when you plug the PlayStation 2 end into the console and leave the others dangling, it feels a like a little much for the port on the PlayStation, but I doubt it would be anything seriously damaging.
All in all, this cable fit's my needs perfectly and works great and has great features like a little red light on the side of the connector to the console, and braided cable.

Really nice cable to have for your systems. I just recently bought a PS2 but it only came with the standard AV cables so with some searching around I came across this 4 in 1 cable... Read morePublished 2 days ago by Amazon Customer
These work really good. I actually prefer these types of hookups over HDMI cord now, I think it is almost better quality (on my tv anyways) and also easier to hook up my PS3 on... Read morePublished 1 month ago by Amazon Customer
Works great, and I'm getting 1080p resolution. I am using these because I needed to free up a HDMI port, and the picture from these wires to my Component input on my Samsung TV is... Read morePublished 1 month ago by Steve S.
Gives a good image, is a sturdy cable that looks like it will hold up to years of use. Also love that I don't need multiple cables to switch between using my PS3 and Xbox 360.Published 2 months ago by Jami Arias
