Wonderful story with lots of facts,
This review is from: Monster Bones: The Story of a Dinosaur Fossil (Science Works (Picture Window)) (Library Binding)
This book is my son's favorite. After checking it out over and over from the library we bought it. We read it every night. This tale of a dinosaur and how his body becomes fossils is wonderfully written. This book has lots of great information, but with a cute story!

Great Science with a Story,
By K Coff (New Orleans, LA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Monster Bones: The Story of a Dinosaur Fossil (Science Works) (Paperback)
My four year old has so many dinosaur books, I really did not want to add another. But Monster Bones is the first one I have found that tells the story of how fossils are created. It has enough just enough science without dumbing it down. I really appreciate this book in contrast to the encyclopedic type books which are informative but get rather mundane reading pages of dinosaur description after dinosaur description.
