After reading all of the reviews I thought man, I have to get me some of this. Well I did and my personal experience isn't that good.
Tried it on my 50" plasma and initially it seemed to work pretty well, but as I looked closely at a reflection in the plasma glass I saw streaks! So, I got a flashlight and looked over the entire display and sure enough, there were streaks all over. Now I'm not one to just slap some cleaner on and a couple of swipes and I'm done. I meticulously polish the screen. Started over doing a very small section, applying cleaner to cloth, spreading on display, turning cloth to dry area, polish, polish polish - still streaks. Mind you I'm doing this with a flashlight in hand, so every little flaw is visible. I found that the only way to prevent streaks is to continue working the damp cloth on th display until it less damp, then turn to the dry area for polishing. Which brings me to another problem ... After doing the above, I noticed literally hundreds of little fibers on the display, with some seemingly stuck to the screen to where i had to rub harder than i would like to get them off. Even still when i did that there were more fibers. Again, did this with a flashlight. Lastly, After getting everything seemingly good to go, I did a follow up inspection the day after i cleaned the display with this product and noticed what appeared to be a subtle film on the glass. I took a cloth and wiped it off easily, but darn if it didn't come back in a short while. It looked like some type of mild condensation. Again this was with a flashlight in hand. After all of this, I went back to my old Mirachem Optix cleaner and a true microfiber cloth (the tighter weave type that is used for lens cleaning). I did one half of the display only and left the other side as it was from the Monster cleaner. After several hours I went to inspect it once again and there was the haze on the Monster side, but the side I sued my old cleaner on was clear. When I say haze, it's not noticeable without the flashlight, so most folks wouldn't see it, but with a flashlight it is obvious, particularly on the black band around the actual viewing area. I haven't tried this product on my LCDs and it may work great on the plastic surface, as opposed to the glass of the plasma. For me, it's just not worth it. Get a good flashlight and check for yourself ...or don't and you'll never know that it isn't perfect.

This product works better than any other cleaning method I have used. The cleaning fluid is of high quality but the real gem is the microfiber cleaning cloth that is included. By using this system all of your displays will be crystal clean all the time. I tried it on plasma, LCD & even my camera lcd display & they never looked better. Highly recommended product for keeping very expensive displays looking great.

Streaks won't go away, right? Here's some advice...,

My experience using this product on my Samsung LN52A650 was a complete nightmare. I contacted Samsung directly for a suggested cleaning method, and Monster's ScreenClean was their only authorized recommendation. Yet, I had the same problems others are describing: the streaks wouldn't go away! After several attempts over a week-long period, my display became a streaky, foggy mess! And to make matters worse, the streaks had that greasy, filmy rainbow tint that you often see when oil's on water. As a result, I seriously began to think my display was reacting badly with the solution. However, I was eventually able to get the streaks down to a minimum by continuously wiping and wiping and wiping. I don't see them at all now.
My advice for those experiencing this same problem: think of it more like you're polishing the screen rather than cleaning it. Focus on specific sections, and keep your polishing as focused as possible to avoid overlapping into areas already completed. Also, the customer service rep at Monster was very attentive and mentioned that the cleansing ingredients may separate over time... so be sure to vigorously shake the solution before applying it to the cleaning cloth. That may or may not help. But honestly, I thought I was going to have a heart attack at the possibility of a $20 cleaner destroying my $2000 TV... And the worst part is, it really didn't even need to be cleaned in the first place. However in all fairness to Monster, aside from the difficulty in removing the streaks, my screen now looks crisp and clean. I haven't yet found or tried another product. But I can tell you this, my screen will have to get pretty dirty before I attempt to clean it using this method again.

Hands down, the best display cleaner I have found! We use it as needed on our 46" LCD TV, a 20" LCD TV, our iMac, and a pair of laptops, and have found that a little goes a very long way - we've been using it for a few months and it seems that we've hardly dented the volume. The microfiber cloth is durable and incredibly effective as well, and can be easily cleaned. Finally, the best part is that dust seems less attracted to our displays after using this. Love it!

Word of CAUTION,
This review is from: Monster TV CLNKIT Alcohol-Free ScreenClean Kit [Traditional Packaging] (Electronics)
I bought this product planning to use it to clean my SXRD rear projection TV. Upon opening the package I found a yellow notice that states:
"To avoid potential damage to the products you plan to clean, please consult your product owner's manual(s) first regarding display care and cleaning procedures and recommendations prior to using this product. If the product to be clean stipulates 'soap and water' cleaning only or recommends that no cleaners be used on your product, do not use this cleaner as a cleaning method. You may return your purchase to authorized Monster dealer, if necessary." Just to safe, I checked the owners manual for my TV and sure enough, it stated use mild soap and water only. This product has been repacked to be returned. It would have been nice if this notice was on the back of the package rather than stuck inside of it.

I completely agree with P. Smith's review; he or she is dead-on with my experience with this Monster Screen Cleaner. This product left streaks that do NOT go away on my Sony Bravia XBR3 LCD TV. I've had the product since May 2007 so if it's January 2008 and they're still not gone, then I'm assuming they're permanent. You can see them when there is a lot of light in the room and especially when you focus a lamp/flash light onto the TV. Yes, I did follow the instructions to the T according to the Monster pamphlet, so it's not a case of using the product incorrectly.
Also, the picture Amazon shows for this product must be outdated because I got a clunky and tacky looking blue bottle instead of that seemingly cool small metal gray color bottle they are displaying. It still says Screen Cleaner on the bottle so I'm assuming it's just a redesign of the bottle and Amazon hasn't updated the picture to reflect the change. My only guess why others aren't complaining is due to them receiving the smaller bottle, which may be higher quality fluid than the big blue bottle which may have lower quality fluid. The provided baby blue microfiber cloth is horrible as well. It is too big and obnoxious in use; I have to fold it just to use it properly and even then it's too thick to really use properly. There is an annoying Monster tag on one of the sides that should probably be cut before you use this. I absolutely would never recommend this product to anyone based on my experience. I should have known better than to use this item... Monster is notoriously overpriced but I thought their screen cleaning products (which people swear by) were different and you were getting the quality you deserve for the money you are spending. Guess not. July 2008 UPDATE: I have found a different screen cleaner product that has removed the streaks the Monster ScreenClean left on my Sony XBR3 LCD TV. It's called the OptiMist Prime made by ShaggyMac (yes the name sounds goofy but don't judge it by its name). It removed the Monster ScreenClean streaks that were on my TV for almost a year, and made my TV look like it did on day one. It's perfect. And it's less than $10. I also used their ShaggyMac Microfiber Swipers which are (1) Much smaller and (2) less "rugged" and no chance of leaving any particles like the Monster cloth does. Just thought I'd help others who also had the same experience with this product and save some frustration by updating my review. I've tried so many screen cleaners and the OptiMist is the only one I've found that doesn't produce streaks.

Works Like Magic!,

After reading in several places that *water* was the best for cleaning your TV, I was reluctant to fork over the money for this kit (liquid and cloth). But let me tell you--it was well worth it! It is amazing how well it works. Now that I have a two-year old, I get fingerprints, handprints, peanut butter--you name it--on the screen, and this stuff gets it right off like magic. I use it to clean my computer screens too. Unless you are completely obsessive, one bottle should last for a few years.

This is the first review I have left on Amazon. I use the site (and reviews) so often that I thought I should give back. I have a beautiful new Samsung 650 LCD and wanted to buy the best for cleaning. After reading the great reviews I tried this product. After spreading on the entire screen and wiping off I noticed what another reviewer noticed, lots of streaks. These were not your ordinary streaks, they were on there good (or bad). I rubbed and rubbed all the while worrying about hurting my screen. Finally I went over it with another (non-Monster) product called CleanScreen that came with some cables I bought. This seems to have helped with the streaks but buyers beware...if you have a newer Samsung you will be very frustrated with the results. This stuff is getting shipped back tomorrow. This is one disappointed customer!!!

Water did the trick,
By
This review is from: Monster TV CLNKIT Alcohol-Free ScreenClean Kit [Traditional Packaging] (Electronics)
Of course I don't know if it'll work for everyone but I had the same streak problem from this awful product (had streaks for days after re-wiping numerous times) and decided to just use water. I wet the cloth (the same cloth from the package) with water and wiped in a uniformed horizontal way, and then allowed it to dry by letting the water evaporate. I checked back the next day and it looks great, no more streaks. This was on my Sony Bravia 32" L-series. I understand the screen isn't the same for all TV's so it may not be the best thing, but it helped my dilemma.

I used this product to clean my LCD TV and it can leave streaks. I applied it two different way, first to the cloth, and also directly to the TV, with the same results- streaks. It dries very quickly and is hard to rub out the streaks. But, it works better than nothing. And it did clean off my child's fingerprints. Just use sparingly and work quickly.
