We have an older TV which required a DVI input from our new Blu-ray DVD which has HMDI output. This cable works great.
One thing to note is that DVI is only for video and requires a separate cable for audio, so this cable must be paried with an audio cable.

The Monster Cable is a great quality cable. It works great with my computer. As advertised great for the price ($10). This cord does not provide sound from computer to TV.

CONS:
- STIFF, ISNT VERY MANUVERABLE
- DOESNT PROVIDE SOUND

Great shipping arrived three days early, cord works great, just wish i had bought a longer one but for the price you cant go wrong....

I've been using this cable to hook up my laptop to my television. Everything works as expected.

I use this cable to connect my computer to an HDTV HDMI input. resolution and appearance are great.

The cable work perfectly. I needed for a new HD monitor for my computer. It worked my GeForce 460 graphics card.

Contrary to the Product Description, this item will not style your hair. It is, however, useful for connecting HDMI output to DVI input.

The cable works perfectly. The cabling is very thick and well insulated. The connectors fit tightly and feel sturdy. I expect this cable to last a very long time. Can't go wrong for $10!

Cable appears of good quality and for a Monster branded product was a good price.
Beware though, it was not specified that the dvi connect is a male plug.

My bad, had assumed it was (and was after) a female plug to connect my existing dvi cable ending with a male plug.

I now have to order a female to female coupler to make the Monster cable work (was easier than returning).

Amazon, the dvi connection type (male) would be a key technical detail to update regarding this cable.

The Monster Cable Ultra 600 HDMI to DVI Cable works nicely with my computer monitor to any HDMI port. I have used it with my cpu & xbox. I can tell the difference between the VGA and the DVI. The DVI connection looks a lot better.

Excellent cable. Worked immediately from PC (DVI) to LCD (HDMI). Extremely sturdy, reliable, and well built. 4 feet does NOT do it much justice (knew this when I bought it). I had to re-arrange my equipment to accomodate for the shorter cable. 6 feet would have been perfect. Other than that, no complaints.
