I have a few Groovie Ghoulies albums now and they all seem to hit me the same way. Straight away I really enjoy their Ramones styled horror cartoon tunes. And it never hurts to have the great sound that Mass Giorgini produces so well for harmonic punk rock bands, I've loved it since I heard Screeching Weasel's Television City Dream. The hooks are really good, working so well with the balance between all the cutesy and the hardness to the guitar. This is how I felt with the last couple too, but now that they have a new little brother they just remain unlistened on the shelf. I dunno if it's just me or if their appeal wears off after they've been listened in. Granted, my attention span is little better than pathetic.
