16 year old Bonita is the daughter of a Skeleton and a Moth. All of her little details that reference her hybrid heritage make this doll very special. Her moth parts include her furry moth legs, moth nibbled clothing, antennae ears and wings. Her arms and torso are skeletal and so are her wings. The wings are removable and are very detailed with a skeleton backbone that extends outward into the wing structure. When Bonita has her wings on, they act as a doll stand that will allow her to stand on her own. The wings have a cut out design that transition from bright pink at the top to black on the bottom. To help stabilize the wings, they have transparent yellow panels that are permanently attached.

Bonita’s face is sweet and pretty. She has purple eyes with blue highlights and is wearing a little bit of glittery eye makeup. Bonita’s lips are pink and purple and are painted in the same manner as Skelita’s lips with distinct accent lines. Bonita has silky ankle length hair that is mostly white with a large streak of both hot pink and black. Bonita wears an adorable dress that is black with a colorful moth print. The print on the sleeves makes them look like they are moth eaten and the cuffs, collar and overskirt of her dress are a tattered pink lace. Bonita’s accessories include a yellow moth and vertebrae belt, a moth hair decoration and some crazy yellow shoes.

Bonita loves bright colors and vintage fashions, but she has a bad habit of nibbling on her clothing – especially when she is nervous. She is one of the new hybrid students at Monster High and is best friends with Neighthan Rot, Avea Trotter and Sirena Von Boo. Bonita comes with a diary and hairbrush. Like all Monster High dolls she is made for play and has many points of articulation for posing. She should be handled with some care as she has some small parts that are fragile or could become lost. Bonita is a lovely doll and sure to be a favorite with all Monster High collectors.

My daughter loves the Monster High Dolls, and continues to collect and play with them. She has somewhere upwards of 75 plus dolls, then she has pets, bedding, lighting, clocks, clothing (A LOT), jewelry, wall stickers and she is still going. She also is learnig to except people as equals, no matter what color their skin is or if the are disabled in any way shape or form. She is learning that all people have fellings and not to hurt them for how they look or speak, Monster High dolls have helped my daughter to be a better person and to help others less fortunate than her to have a better life also. So as log as she keeps helping others, behaving and excelling in school I say forward we go.

Bonita is a beautiful doll with intricate features monster high is well known for.

This doll does not come with a stand, but she can stand on her own with her wings which is a huge plus in my childrens eyes. Here is a highlight of the pros and cons from my daughters view.

Pro's

She is absolutely beautiful. My daughters love the detail in the legs and they like how she is different from the other dolls in the main series.

She can stand on her own.

She is beautifully painted and her hair is soft and silky. A better quality than some of the other dolls (even though a lot of them have nice hair already).

She is a perfect addition to out 55 plus collection of monster high.

Cons:

Her Wings do not bend or move. My kids were very upset over this feature.
Her wings fall off and they are hard to get back on because of her long hair.
The plastic used on this doll feels cheaper and less durable compared to the other dolls.
No stand.....but it is not needed because she can stand on her own.
Her wings take up a lot of space and because they do not move it makes her playability a lot harder.

Bonita Femur is the daughter of the Mothman and a skelton. I found her in Toys R Us. She has light pink skin and pink eyes. She has very long white hair with one pink and one black streak. Her hair is put in a ponytail and she has a yellow and red headpiece. She has long pink ears that look like flat horns. She is wearing a black top with butterflies and pink and black skirt. She has a neon yellow belt and shoes. She comes with removable wings. They are pink and the top and black at the bottom. Some of the holes in the wings are filled in with yellow plastic. She comes with a yellow hair brush. Bonita doesn't come with a stand because she can stand on her on when she has her wings.

Monster High Bonita Femur is such a well made gorgeous doll. She has very cool intense mothy designs and patterns she also has very cool skeleton detail such as bones running down her back and thin bony fingers. Bonita has simple beautiful makeup with black lines lining her lipstick and silver and pink sparkly eye shadow. Mattel has hit the nail on the head with this doll. Her wings are so big and so interesting. I love the details Mattel added to them featuring sharp and crisp edges. I love the bright yellow in them. I love her platinum blond hair it is so long and beautiful I love her fuzzy legs too. The colours are phenomenal if you are thinking about getting her she is a must. She is one of Mattel's best work yet and she is an asset to my collection. If you liked the other MH dolls you will love Bonita more.

The dolls head completely snapped and broke when we took it out of the box. My daughter is devastated and I don't want to spend more money on another doll. Very poor quality.

Daughter really wanted the doll, so it was ordered using one of her Xmas gift certificates. Shipping was fast and no issues with delivery. However, within the first day of playing with the doll, the black paint on the bottom half of her wings began to come off. Just wanted to highlight the poor quality.

The box was smashed, but it's not a big deal. The doll was fins and we just destroy the boxes anyway. She's a very pretty doll that doesn't have or need a stand because of her wings. My daughter was very happy with her! She goes perfectly in the new Monster High house that came out in 2014-lots of fun!

If you have a child in your family who loves Monster High dolls, the Freaky Fusion dolls will make good gifts. Very inventive and creative.
