Title is WRONG. It does not fit UP TO 1/0 Gauge.
I'm giving this 4 stars because it is a really nice grommet, but the title is incorrect. This is the grommet for 10-4 AWG wires. I should have done my research, but at least I got a free return. I'm ordering the other one (Monster 400 Heavy-Duty Competition Grommets (Up to 1/0 Gauge) 2 AWG - 1/0 AWG (MPC P400 CG 2-1)) and hopefully it will work.

Disappointed that this wasn't metal
I was disappointed to find that the material used to make this bushing IS PLASTIC NOT METAL as It looked to me in the picture.

Just a high quality grommet. Easy to use and install. They are solid and appear to be made out of some tough plastic. They come in several sizes to fit the install. They are not the cheapest grommets out there, but they were prime eligible.

This was order June 16, 2010. The tittle says "Monster 400 Heavy-Duty Competition Grommets (Up to 1/0 Gauge) 10 AWG - 4 AWG (MPC P400 CG 10-4)." But it does not fit 1/0. My item was not installed.
Its simple item that is actually just three parts. They are best resemble as lock nut, bolt, nut. The lock nut will be the side that face inside of your engine bay. This lock nut will tighten down (only about 1/4th of a turn) on to the bolt. The bolt has two different thread ends and a nut built in to the middle. The end where the lock nut goes is where its really unique. As you tighten down the lock nut, the end closes together for a snug fit. The other end of the bolt is just where your nut goes between the fire wall. The thread length for your fire wall thickness is about 1/8". I would highly recommend that you would use some sort of threadlocker so that the nut won't have a chance to rattle its way lose.

excepts only up to 4 gauge i have not need at this time for that i was looking for a 0 gauge firewall grommet.
